Sadly what I’ve learned over the years is that if you end up playing the chase game, the cycle just continues like a revolving door. Chasing never works…
It's strategy when dating. Not games. We are flawed and that's how it is. I wish we could refrain from strategy. Let's call it wisdom.
Yes. This is why men come back months and sometimes years later, even if they are the ones who left and you just ignored them instead of chasing.

4 days is no biggie. A week and he's your man? Tell him gently that you felt anxious. Be gentle not nagging. If he does it again..back off.
And if you step back without speaking how would they know what you don’t like?
When you see him tell him how you felt. " I felt anxious or I felt sad". Be gentle though. No rage. If he doesn't fix it..pull away. I don't believe in this girlfriend/boyfriend dynamic. It's not biblical. Either he is with you to eventually marry you or not. Know that many men will waste your time. Remember that men need alone time but a week or 2 is not acceptable behavior.
