I have the utmost respect for church musicians. You need to be able to play virtually any genre of Christian music and be prepared to switch from Planet Shakers to Andre Crouch to a Jonathan Butler or Kirk Whalum jazz vibe in an instant.
This is an old comment but much appreciated. Last week I literally did hymns from the early 1900s, CCM, reggae, soca and traditional gospel and that was actually a laid back Sunday.

Wow lots of keys happening that takes some maturity to play cohesively without stepping on each other. I have done it before. But it’s usually Piano, B3/Pads -and then string reduction. So not quite as complicated as this. Major props!

Is the bass player using a synth effect pedal? If so, I’d like to know what it is. That bass sounds real good.
I don't think he actually is. If you watch at 2:34, for example, you can see he's actually playing octaves (note the position of his index finger and pinkie finger). Also, he's not playing them exactly together, which is why you get that awesome octave-delay effect. He's playing the lower note and then a 16th later playing the octave. The basic line is an 8th note groove but the octave turns it into a 16th note groove and it feels a little bit like both. You get the laid-back steady feel from the 8th pulse of the basic line outlined by the lower notes. Because the octave 16th groove echoes the main line it's able to add the fullness and energy of a 16th groove without completely changing the fundamental feel of the 8th note groove underneath. Very, very cool.
2:40 really convinces me that he's not using an octave pedal. He switches seamless to a straight line without octaves and you can see it in his hands.
That's a Ken Smith bass he's playing. It has a unique sound of it's own.
