As a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha for two terms (1980-1992), he amplified the voices of minorities, represented India at the United Nations in 1981, and played a crucial role in public policy.
Recognized for his immense contributions, he was honored with the Panth Bhushan by Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji and the Seva Sanman by Satguru Uday Singh Ji. His legacy continues through institutions like SJS International School in Samalkha and his countless efforts for the Namdhari community and beyond.
