Lee taemin be spoiling fans since the members enlisted and tried every single thing to communicate well. He did vlive so often even though technology is not his thing, he tried learning english and spoke english more so that international fans could relate and now that he's enlisting let's say that he did well!! He carried and fulfilled his hyungs' spot and he did it very well. He became SHINee's and Shawols' pride. You did very well our maknae! I love how his background dancers always tend to be equal number male and female and it's not in-your-face at all. They dance the same things, sometimes switching between them, sometimes mixed together. It's not about having 'sexy girls' in the background or 'more handsome men' or something, but actually just to have competent dancers for a better performance /)(\ It's like saying that gender of the dancers doesn't matter and doesn't take advantage of any gender either. Maybe it's a tiny thing or even wholly unintended, but it honestly makes me so happy to see~

It's 100% on purpose. Taemin talks about this specific issue in a few interviews. For example, in Criminal, when he's wearing the mask and the dancers' faces are blurred out, Taemin is stating that he wants idols to be judged for their art, not their looks. He pushes gender boundaries quite often, in style and choreo. He is a very deep thinker and every nuance of every MV has meaning and purpose. :)
Or if there are dancers of only one gender, like Move there were only female dancers, it's for the energy and art and not for them to be just sexy in the background. I love that there is always that emphasize on quality and style in his productions

This man has been so damn busy for a year. He's been dropping bop after bop, first with SuperM, then as a soloist, and then with SHINee. Now he's promoting Advice and is about to to the military. Respect to this man, he works so hard.

He's been working nonstop since he was 11/ 12, and is arguably South Korea's most iconic male soloist, as well as member of two successful groups. Luck had nothing to do with it. I love how his background dancers always tend to be equal number male and female and it's not in-your-face at all. They dance the same things, sometimes switching between them, sometimes mixed together. It's not about having 'sexy girls' in the background or 'more handsome men' or something, but actually just to have competent dancers for a better performance /)(\ It's like saying that gender of the dancers doesn't matter and doesn't take advantage of any gender either. Maybe it's a tiny thing or even wholly unintended, but it honestly makes me so happy to see~

To many singers in america force diversity into music videos and it seems unnatural and like they are using the dancers as props to show how woke they can be which to be honest i find more sexist and racist than not having diversity
It's 100% on purpose. Taemin talks about this specific issue in a few interviews. For example, in Criminal, when he's wearing the mask and the dancers' faces are blurred out, Taemin is stating that he wants idols to be judged for their art, not their looks. He pushes gender boundaries quite often, in style and choreo. He is a very deep thinker and every nuance of every MV has meaning and purpose. :)
Or if there are dancers of only one gender, like Move there were only female dancers, it's for the energy and art and not for them to be just sexy in the background. I love that there is always that emphasize on quality and style in his productions
