It WAS the story, but I would be disappointed if they chicken out and let her live. It's ok if they change some minor things, however this is integral to FFVII
I was fighting the last fight in crisis core for about 3 hours until I realised I couldn't die and then uhh yeah finally remembered I had to die to complete the mission 😂😂

I agree with almost all your predictions. Yuffie and Cait were the least liked chars of OG cuz there was close to nothing to them. So yeah, we all agree that when intermission came out we were all shocked that Yuffie was so likeble from the get go. I mean, I don't wanna speak for everyone but it's safe to assume that most people hate Dirge of Cerberus and I think that NO one had any type of problems with the inclussion of Deepground/Nero+Weiss at the end of the DLC. It was really cool and it's a great way to connect with other chars. I mean, I think that the deepground stuff was added, not only to give a coat of paint to DoC but think, in that game there are three important people: Yuffie, Cait and Vincent. The latest trailer shows Yuffie getting triggered by Sephirot (cuz you know, nero) so I think that's gonna be a constant following the party, specially the trio. In that way, you refresh them into the OG but you add new things so you can further develop them. About Zack: I think that was the purpose of re-release CCR. SE must been cooking something amazing cuz' they were willing to sacrifice the biggest plot twist of FF7. I think part of the rerelease was to introduce certain aspects of CC into rebirth. So not only Cissnei, but I'm sure that both Genesis and Angeal will be there. I wouldn't be surprised that we found out more information about Lazard (even tho he's dead). In fact, I think that Genesis will be a new weapon deployed to protect the planet (and that would tie in with the secret ending of DoC. As much as I don't like it, that moment is the farthest point of FF7 and it's a huge unresolved cliffhanger). About Angeal: maybe there's a copy of him somewhere (hell, they can connect it with Deepground if they want to, I wouldn't be surprised that shirna took one of the copies and made experiments or so). And Zack: that was the point of CCR. I think that the gameplay will be VERY similar to CCR but much more refined and, again, as much as I don't like it, I think that the DMW will be a core of Zack's gameplay and in that way they can fill the gaps when a memory is triggered (as many, I have this belief that he will be Lagunae'd. We will do xx with Cloud and suddendly we are this dark haired dude. In fact, I have a feeling that the game WON'T start with the flashback on Nibelheim but instead, the game will start all over again like remake, same cutscene, music, everything exactly the same, and once the bombing mission starts and Barret call us, instead of Cloud we will be Zack. In fact, I wouldn't be surprise that we will play remake all over again, albeit MUCH more shorter, with Zack). And yeah, I think that the whole point of rebirth will be saving Aerith and avoiding her demise... Until it happens. I wouldn't be surprised that she outlives the city of the ancients. I think that she may be alive by the time Sephirot summons Meteor cuz, again, as many: I think the game is gonna end with the execution of Barret/Tifa. The game HAS to end in a very low so I can see them killing Aerith close to that moment, then the summoning happens, meteor is in the sky, Cloud is nowhere to be seen and avalanche is in the brink of death. It the LOWEST low that you can get so once you go to the 3rd game, we have a huge motivation to go forward

However her death goes down, it HAS to happen in the Forgotten City. That framing is way too iconic and has already been foreshadowed so heavily, they can’t just off her in some other random place. That said, they might move the location of the Forgotten City itself for pacing reasons. Maybe placing it *after* Icicle Inn? That way the distraught party would exit straight into the Whirlwind Maze after she dies instead of, y’know, snowboarding. It would certainly fix the tonal whiplash.
I think Aerith will not die this time around, FF7 remake's whole point is to "defy destiny" aka changing the events of FF7, Aerith kows that she got stabbed by Sehiroth, not to mention that the AVALANCHE members survived.
I think Aerith will die, I have the feeling she already knows she's gonna die but doesn't know why or how, but once she realizes why she needs to die, she'll sacrifice herself.
100% this game will kill tifa or aerith. Either can bring cloud back, but both can’t live. I’m going to be destroyed mentally but I know one of the two are dead.
I think there are 2 very big hints in FF7R. The warning of Aerith to Cloud that Sephiroth is still evil, and Sephiroth telling Cloud that he wont allow himself, AND CLOUD, to be a part of "IT". For Aerith's warning, Aerith already knows the future and she knows that Sephiroth is trying to win Cloud to join his side by seemingly trying to prevent the end of Gaia, which is what he was trying to convey to Cloud, that Jenova will resurrect in the future and devour all of them. While Sephiroth is indeed trying to prevent their end, he actually has another goal, which is to actually conquer Gaia to himself. Not for his "mother" because he already knows the truth, but now just for himself. There is also another hint to this, which is a part of the trailer for Rebirth, in which Sephiroth told Cloud to be careful of Tifa. I think the purpose of that warning was to tell Cloud (and also possibly the whole party) that Jenova can disguise as another person with all the memories and characteristics intact. The Ancients were fooled by this tactic of Jenova and the biggest reason of their demise. I think Sephiroth was just telling Cloud in advance the abilities of Jenova so Cloud will be thankful to him later in the future. So here's my prediction: Before FF7R happened, Jenova was getting stronger due to also being inside the lifestream, and escaped the clutch of Sephiroth and is near fully resurrected. Cloud is the key for stopping this, but for some reason didn't stop Jenova (or maybe couldn't stop Jenova because its the will of the planet?) so before they'll end, Sephiroth time travelled using the lifestream, so as Aerith to stop Sephiroth of his evil plans. Obviously, FF7 Rebirth is the middle of the trilogy so I think many events after Midgar will unfold as is, with a little sprinkle of revelations on what happened after FF7 OG and before FF7R. Then due to the party knowing the truth little by little, it will deviate in some places and will totally deviate near the end of the game. I guess this is what the direction of FF Rebirth will be going, if the game is really long as what they hinted that its on 2 discs, then the game would go similarly till the end of FF7 OG, but will deviate near the end. This will be the part on what will be Cloud's decision regarding Jenova. If what they said about the 2 discs is just marketing gimmick, then the game will deviate in the middle of the game with some parts happening completely different, and most likely some parts of FF7 OG wont happen at all and will be replaced with a completely different scenario. My prediction is that Cloud, in the end, still couldn't stop Jenova, and this time Jenova will now be in control of Sephiroth. Jenova will now "complete" Sephiroth thus completing the "One Winged Angel". The end of FF7 Rebirth. The rebirth of Jenova. Zack will appear in the game, and maybe you can even control him, just like controlling Laguna in FF8. Zack will have an important part on the sequel of Rebirth. Aerith won't die yet and will still be together with the party on the 3rd part of the trilogy but will still die, together with Zack, to thwart Jenova from devouring Gaia. I think Jenova will be the final villain in this trilogy because in the OG, Jenova was just a background character. It seems like Jenova is described as a very powerful entity in the OG but you really didn't actually see how powerful Jenova is. Then in this trilogy, Sephiroth is introduced way earlier than he should. This is also the pattern of old FF's, where a villain is introduced like he will be the final villain, but will have a different villain in the end. I also think that we'll meet another Ancient. Come to think of it, the Ancients sealed Jenova, but we never know the key people that greatly contributed in sealing Jenova. For sure they will be introduced either in Rebirth or in the sequel. Most likely before they sealed Jenova, they left something that could finally eradicate Jenova. They just couldn't do it themselves because it was too late

I do admit the scale of the minigame was kinda disappointing, but hopefully it's just a warmup for what's to come. 3, would not surprise me, but we were told in a recent tweet that he would not be playable in Rebirth. But yes, definitely, I'm sure we'll see him fight. And if there ever was a time for him to join the party, it'd be after Cloud gets to the crater. Fun facts -- 1) Stamp has a human commander and a canine commander; the species isn't specified but it's a dog with stars on his helmet. Seem familiar, like a certain red herring? 2) The events of Zack's death take place September 18th originally, but it was changed to "late September" for Remake in the World Preview, and specifically written that he died. In remake we obviously see the four whispers (which do Sephiroth's bidding) make sure that Zack lives. This means spirit Zack is no longer in Cloud's mind, and the name itself is even blocked by Jenova glitching, and every appearance of Zack's voice is replaced by Sephiroth. 3) Cloud shows up in Sector 7 in October on the 4th. One the 3rd, Cissinei and the player turk (from Before Crisis) visit the church and are attacked by anti-soldier Ravens that leads to a high speed chase, this means... Regardless of whether Cloud comes alone or with Zack, the two WILL split up and whenever Zack leaves Cloud in the Last Order anime, Zack always gives the sword to Cloud if Zack can't stay with him. Since that chase leads into the streets on the plate, Zack must leave Cloud with a sword. On the 6th, the Turks we don't see in remake are exiled. On the 2nd of October, for some reason, the turks are given renewed orders to find Zack; most likely originally meant to find his body given it was just left there. But without his body being left there, you gotta wonder why they chose to change the date from the original before crisis date... Anyway, one sword, one universe, and the last bit, 4) In the first Ultimania, at Creation's End/Edge, it addresses 7 seconds. "Sephiroth is holding time still 7 seconds before the death of the planet, using Jenova's power over the corroded lifestream (Geostigma, Advent Children/Dirge) to manipulate the memories of the planet to change the past." Again, one universe, one timeline, being altered by rewriting it. Back to the predictions. 2, Yes. BUT -- she was actually introduced in Before Crisis, in 2004. 7 years later. As for where they went to, as it happens on the day of the first reactor bombing on December 9th, 0007, all the turks in exile are in Icicle Inn (which is a town), where they fought a WEAPON all while Cloud and company were just starting their adventure. But yeah, we'll probably find her near Gongaga. 1, break, yes. Die, unknown. It's quite possible, but consider this... If Aerith dies, Sephiroth will need to deal with Jenova, Minerva (with Genesis), and Aerith in the lifestream. This is likely an unfavorable outcome. Also, Jenova wants her dead; Jenova also controlled number 49 specifically, while Advent Sephiroth deposited himself into number 2. It was most likely 49 in the holodeck to kill Barret and Tifa, and it was 49 that stabbed Barret Sephiroth, however, simply played with and toyed with them before getting Cloud alone to show that it was just child's play. We could make a case against it, too. Cloud has 7 seconds, and he had flashes of the future... And unlike the rest of the compilation where in BC and CC the theme was destiny cannot be stopped, and AC where the theme was forgiveness.. and in DC, where time was being altered before our eyes but nobody could notice it long enough to call it out (and thus "terrible writing!").. Remake's theme was changing destiny. Rebirth is.. creating a new outcome? Whatever the case, there's a chance to change things.
No doubt they have to change some parts, to keep it fresh and expand the story even more. This game will be long! (Which is a very good thing) Wonder how they are going to handle the vehicles in the overworld...

I would not be surprised if everything done in the first two discs are included, with the third game having what was left but also splicing what was to come after. Something I kept noticing in on the way to a smile and the kids are alright is that the geography of the entire world changes. Also fun, the kids are alright introduced us briefly to a soldier in a biker's jacket whom couldn't speak due to the stigma and died. Remake introduced us to the only soldier ever seen in a biker's jacket, roach, and both happen to be a soldier second class ..
@@andreseh87 Watch Advent children to see Zack in Cloud's mind telling him to be confident in himself. Also in dirge for a glimpse of him reassuring cloud, too. Also in the original game, Umemmora (spelling is off) who wrote the final ultimania for the last game, wrote that the voice speaking to cloud in every scene except the one about scraped knees, was Zack. If you watch the abridged series by 7-star, "Radio Zack" is taking the idea to a hilarious end. Also if you compare their animations, Cloud's many movements in remake are literally mirrors of Zack's animations from crisis core.

Welp. Looks like Fort Condor was wrong. We got Queens Blood instead 😅. Other predictions look solid so far though. Except maybe the Aerith, Tifa, Cloud fate theories.
Aerith isn't going to die... It is what they want you to believe... Pairing some insights from elements of the game concerning Sephiroth's overall development, what Japanese players have revealed, things said about him to come from the developers themselves, interesting factors from outside FF7R concerning Sephiroth, the fact there are technically two versions of him existing now... and how strange Aerith's behavior is, when breaking odd elements of her character down... she's not going to die, or at the very least, when it appears she dies, she will end up NOT staying dead. Aerith honestly feels more like a *massive* red-herring, or may possibly be wholly faulty in her beliefs, part of building up the plot twist. She's DESIGNED for the audience to trust the most, yet there's things about her, and things she has said that is quite off, and even off character a bit. Sephiroth, a character we're SUPPOSED to NOT trust, stated "those who see with clouded eyes, see nothing but shadows..." And there ARE hints that Aerith is in fact, _off_ and potentially not trustworthy. This doesn't mean the PLOT itself will change, but the devs in recent discussion have made statements that the STORY of REMAKE is about change. The biggest plot twist here in theory is... Sephiroth is NOT the villain this time around. That is key to probably understanding everything happening. Again, this doesn't take away from the original "plot", but this is going to set up for a brand new future narratives to explore, after the trilogy. Also, based on info stated by Japanese players that strongly suggests Sephiroth won't be a villain this time, it's believed that the third installment will be "Final Fantasy VII: REDEMPTION", as it can't be "Reborn" as some believe, there's already "Rebirth", and it's definitely not going to be "Reunion", as we already have "FF7: Crisis Core Reunion". Based on the info we've explored... Redemption, is the only third title to make sense, and that redemption revolving around Sephiroth this time, as last time, the theme of redemption focused on Cloud, and even a little with Vincent Valentine.
@@VOAN Nope. That title doesn't coincide with the patterns and motions of the current development of Remake/Rebirth. Remake and Rebirth, doesn't even go together with "Revenge". FF7 has always explored the subject of "redemption" and that being very central and important to its narrative. Saying it's going to be "revenge" based on this notion, is observing the game's progression very superficially, and not taking into account, the extensively broad, multidimensional factors at play. We can assure you, it's NOT going to be "revenge". You can pretty much bet your ass, it WILL be "Final Fantasy VII: Redemption".
1-5: The story is not about timelines as it makes no sense with the FFVII lore and we slowly realize that the whole timeline changing is not a literal universe. Sephiroth can return because of Cloud's memories so Aerith tries to disconnect him so he can never return. But she fails and he returns and a good chunk of the third part is in the physical present of post Dirge of Cerberus while still trying to get rid of Sephiroth in Fnal Fantasy VII REality.
My prediction is that Cait Sith's giant mog bot will actually be a disguised Shinra combat mech (like a Sweeper.) So he will fight with like missiles and lasers but still have Gambler skills as a reference to the only thing he did in OG.
Finally someone who tells aerith will still die. I also think aerith will in rebirth or maybe in 3rd game. My guess is that she will die in cloud's timeline but she will be somehow saved by zack and get stuck on zack's timeline together. I think this is a plausible scenario to happen. In OG we know that aerith was able to conjure holy, seemingly from lifestream. Then we saw aerith at the church then disappear. Then in AC, aerith was talking to cloud in his mind, then in the end of AC he saw aerith among the children and went out with zack. We think these were just apparitions or memories or something happening onside cloud's mind. But it's possible that these are real aerith and zack trying to help the party from zack's timeline. Probably during the merging of timelines, something will happen and the merging will be incomplete. Cloud from zack's timeline could merge memories with remake cloud (hence he will know the truth that he's not zack) or the delusional remake cloud might even die and get replaced by zack timeline cloud who is not delusional. Either way, the merging might not completely happen and zack might be able to pull aerith to his timeline before completely dying. Then the two will attempt to assist cloud from their side. Also there was a leak that originally cloud goes to ancient city to find aerith in the end of AC so i think it's possible that cloud knew somewhere in AC that the two are still existing in another somewhere.

But more in the sense that after her death, through the lifestream she goes or shares her memories into/with her other self from Zack's timeline. And then we beat Sephiroth AGAIN, the timelines are unmerged and Aerith stays alive in Zack's timeline while she is dead in the main one. It's just a theory of course, but a very possible scenario. I guess I just want my boy Zack to be alive and live a good life with Aerith and the rest of the gang, somewhere... someway...
@@The_Mammal_Man because of the introduction of timelines in remake, i really got the feeling that the aerith and zack in advent children weren't just happening in cloud's mind, but rather actual living bodies from a different timeline trying to reach out to cloud to help him. And the last scene in OG where the camera pans to aerith, similar to the opening scene was an indication that aerith is alive in another dimension, pulling strings to help the party.

Tifa shall die. Aerith shall live. Fate has been messed with. Final Destination Death gunna be all mixed up. There's even a good chance CLOUD might die....and be replaced by alternate reality Zack!
It would be very dissapointing if Sephiroth is the final Boss again. Usually in Shonen Manga old enemies become new friends and they face together bigger challanges, but the final fantasy 7 franchise feel like Shit froze in time and not moving forward for decades.

Only 1 problem with your predictions pal None of that is gonna happen in rebirth. Maybe the game after it but the unnecessary bloat they add to Midgar lead me to believe they are gonna fuck around in the kalm flash back for far to long and chadly is gonna be at the chocabo farm to give you some BS mini game you don't want to do but will anyways cause maybe the rewards might be worth it and the game will end when we arrive in Costa del sol
Here's the issue I have with what you said about how Aerith's death is fated and therefore mandatory due to the original storyline of the game. You need to keep in mind that at the end of FF7R we defeated the Fates. All the whispers and everything that happened to keep the timeline intact such as the whispers saving Aerith from falling in the Church in the upper balcony and blocking our path to keep us from doing anything to change the outcome of what is supposedly "supposed" to happen or NOT happen is now gone as a result. They had the game play out that way for a REASON, and if it wasn't to change the outcome of the original story to prevent Aerith's death, then I'm at a loss because I can't think of any better or more profound reason. A LOT of people begged and pleaded with Square/Enix to put out an update to the original game that introduced a sidequest to bring her back or change the previous scripted events on another playthrough somehow...so that is why I say this. What IF they finally decided to give us the option this time around to change history and prevent that from happening in the first place???

I'm not happy with this though it sounds very plausible. Only if the Cetras gift Aerith life by summoning the Phoenix ... the game hopefully ends with a Rebirth Flame striking Aerith so in Final Fantasy Resurrection (3rd part of Remake) a happy ending can take place. 🥲

And yeah, I think that the whole point of rebirth will be saving Aerith and avoiding her demise... Until it happens. I wouldn't be surprised that she outlives the city of the ancients. I think that she may be alive by the time Sephirot summons Meteor cuz, again, as many: I think the game is gonna end with the execution of Barret/Tifa. The game HAS to end in a very low so I can see them killing Aerith close to that moment, then the summoning happens, meteor is in the sky, Cloud is nowhere to be seen and avalanche is in the brink of death. It the LOWEST low that you can get so once you go to the 3rd game, we have a huge motivation to go forward

However her death goes down, it HAS to happen in the Forgotten City. That framing is way too iconic and has already been foreshadowed so heavily, they can’t just off her in some other random place.
That said, they might move the location of the Forgotten City itself for pacing reasons. Maybe placing it *after* Icicle Inn? That way the distraught party would exit straight into the Whirlwind Maze after she dies instead of, y’know, snowboarding. It would certainly fix the tonal whiplash.
I think Aerith will not die this time around, FF7 remake's whole point is to "defy destiny" aka changing the events of FF7, Aerith kows that she got stabbed by Sehiroth, not to mention that the AVALANCHE members survived.

I think there are 2 very big hints in FF7R. The warning of Aerith to Cloud that Sephiroth is still evil, and Sephiroth telling Cloud that he wont allow himself, AND CLOUD, to be a part of "IT". For Aerith's warning, Aerith already knows the future and she knows that Sephiroth is trying to win Cloud to join his side by seemingly trying to prevent the end of Gaia, which is what he was trying to convey to Cloud, that Jenova will resurrect in the future and devour all of them. While Sephiroth is indeed trying to prevent their end, he actually has another goal, which is to actually conquer Gaia to himself. Not for his "mother" because he already knows the truth, but now just for himself. There is also another hint to this, which is a part of the trailer for Rebirth, in which Sephiroth told Cloud to be careful of Tifa. I think the purpose of that warning was to tell Cloud (and also possibly the whole party) that Jenova can disguise as another person with all the memories and characteristics intact. The Ancients were fooled by this tactic of Jenova and the biggest reason of their demise. I think Sephiroth was just telling Cloud in advance the abilities of Jenova so Cloud will be thankful to him later in the future. So here's my prediction: Before FF7R happened, Jenova was getting stronger due to also being inside the lifestream, and escaped the clutch of Sephiroth and is near fully resurrected. Cloud is the key for stopping this, but for some reason didn't stop Jenova (or maybe couldn't stop Jenova because its the will of the planet?) so before they'll end, Sephiroth time travelled using the lifestream, so as Aerith to stop Sephiroth of his evil plans. Obviously, FF7 Rebirth is the middle of the trilogy so I think many events after Midgar will unfold as is, with a little sprinkle of revelations on what happened after FF7 OG and before FF7R. Then due to the party knowing the truth little by little, it will deviate in some places and will totally deviate near the end of the game. I guess this is what the direction of FF Rebirth will be going, if the game is really long as what they hinted that its on 2 discs, then the game would go similarly till the end of FF7 OG, but will deviate near the end. This will be the part on what will be Cloud's decision regarding Jenova. If what they said about the 2 discs is just marketing gimmick, then the game will deviate in the middle of the game with some parts happening completely different, and most likely some parts of FF7 OG wont happen at all and will be replaced with a completely different scenario. My prediction is that Cloud, in the end, still couldn't stop Jenova, and this time Jenova will now be in control of Sephiroth. Jenova will now "complete" Sephiroth thus completing the "One Winged Angel". The end of FF7 Rebirth. The rebirth of Jenova. Zack will appear in the game, and maybe you can even control him, just like controlling Laguna in FF8. Zack will have an important part on the sequel of Rebirth. Aerith won't die yet and will still be together with the party on the 3rd part of the trilogy but will still die, together with Zack, to thwart Jenova from devouring Gaia. I think Jenova will be the final villain in this trilogy because in the OG, Jenova was just a background character. It seems like Jenova is described as a very powerful entity in the OG but you really didn't actually see how powerful Jenova is. Then in this trilogy, Sephiroth is introduced way earlier than he should. This is also the pattern of old FF's, where a villain is introduced like he will be the final villain, but will have a different villain in the end. I also think that we'll meet another Ancient. Come to think of it, the Ancients sealed Jenova, but we never know the key people that greatly contributed in sealing Jenova. For sure they will be introduced either in Rebirth or in the sequel. Most likely before they sealed Jenova, they left something that could finally eradicate Jenova. They just couldn't do it themselves because it was too late

I do admit the scale of the minigame was kinda disappointing, but hopefully it's just a warmup for what's to come. 3, would not surprise me, but we were told in a recent tweet that he would not be playable in Rebirth. But yes, definitely, I'm sure we'll see him fight. And if there ever was a time for him to join the party, it'd be after Cloud gets to the crater.
Fun facts -- 1) Stamp has a human commander and a canine commander; the species isn't specified but it's a dog with stars on his helmet. Seem familiar, like a certain red herring? 2) The events of Zack's death take place September 18th originally, but it was changed to "late September" for Remake in the World Preview, and specifically written that he died. In remake we obviously see the four whispers (which do Sephiroth's bidding) make sure that Zack lives. This means spirit Zack is no longer in Cloud's mind, and the name itself is even blocked by Jenova glitching, and every appearance of Zack's voice is replaced by Sephiroth.
3) Cloud shows up in Sector 7 in October on the 4th. One the 3rd, Cissinei and the player turk (from Before Crisis) visit the church and are attacked by anti-soldier Ravens that leads to a high speed chase, this means... Regardless of whether Cloud comes alone or with Zack, the two WILL split up and whenever Zack leaves Cloud in the Last Order anime, Zack always gives the sword to Cloud if Zack can't stay with him. Since that chase leads into the streets on the plate, Zack must leave Cloud with a sword. On the 6th, the Turks we don't see in remake are exiled. On the 2nd of October, for some reason, the turks are given renewed orders to find Zack; most likely originally meant to find his body given it was just left there. But without his body being left there, you gotta wonder why they chose to change the date from the original before crisis date... Anyway, one sword, one universe, and the last bit, 4) In the first Ultimania, at Creation's End/Edge, it addresses 7 seconds. "Sephiroth is holding time still 7 seconds before the death of the planet, using Jenova's power over the corroded lifestream (Geostigma, Advent Children/Dirge) to manipulate the memories of the planet to change the past." Again, one universe, one timeline, being altered by rewriting it.
Back to the predictions. 2, Yes. BUT -- she was actually introduced in Before Crisis, in 2004. 7 years later. As for where they went to, as it happens on the day of the first reactor bombing on December 9th, 0007, all the turks in exile are in Icicle Inn (which is a town), where they fought a WEAPON all while Cloud and company were just starting their adventure. But yeah, we'll probably find her near Gongaga.
1, break, yes. Die, unknown. It's quite possible, but consider this... If Aerith dies, Sephiroth will need to deal with Jenova, Minerva (with Genesis), and Aerith in the lifestream. This is likely an unfavorable outcome. Also, Jenova wants her dead; Jenova also controlled number 49 specifically, while Advent Sephiroth deposited himself into number 2. It was most likely 49 in the holodeck to kill Barret and Tifa, and it was 49 that stabbed Barret Sephiroth, however, simply played with and toyed with them before getting Cloud alone to show that it was just child's play. We could make a case against it, too. Cloud has 7 seconds, and he had flashes of the future... And unlike the rest of the compilation where in BC and CC the theme was destiny cannot be stopped, and AC where the theme was forgiveness.. and in DC, where time was being altered before our eyes but nobody could notice it long enough to call it out (and thus "terrible writing!").. Remake's theme was changing destiny. Rebirth is.. creating a new outcome? Whatever the case, there's a chance to change things.
No doubt they have to change some parts, to keep it fresh and expand the story even more.

I would not be surprised if everything done in the first two discs are included, with the third game having what was left but also splicing what was to come after. Something I kept noticing in on the way to a smile and the kids are alright is that the geography of the entire world changes.
Also fun, the kids are alright introduced us briefly to a soldier in a biker's jacket whom couldn't speak due to the stigma and died. Remake introduced us to the only soldier ever seen in a biker's jacket, roach, and both happen to be a soldier second class ..

Also in the original game, Umemmora (spelling is off) who wrote the final ultimania for the last game, wrote that the voice speaking to cloud in every scene except the one about scraped knees, was Zack. If you watch the abridged series by 7-star, "Radio Zack" is taking the idea to a hilarious end. Also if you compare their animations, Cloud's many movements in remake are literally mirrors of Zack's animations from crisis core.

Aerith isn't going to die... It is what they want you to believe...
Pairing some insights from elements of the game concerning Sephiroth's overall development, what Japanese players have revealed, things said about him to come from the developers themselves, interesting factors from outside FF7R concerning Sephiroth, the fact there are technically two versions of him existing now... and how strange Aerith's behavior is, when breaking odd elements of her character down... she's not going to die, or at the very least, when it appears she dies, she will end up NOT staying dead.
Aerith honestly feels more like a *massive* red-herring, or may possibly be wholly faulty in her beliefs, part of building up the plot twist. She's DESIGNED for the audience to trust the most, yet there's things about her, and things she has said that is quite off, and even off character a bit. Sephiroth, a character we're SUPPOSED to NOT trust, stated "those who see with clouded eyes, see nothing but shadows..." And there ARE hints that Aerith is in fact, _off_ and potentially not trustworthy.
This doesn't mean the PLOT itself will change, but the devs in recent discussion have made statements that the STORY of REMAKE is about change. The biggest plot twist here in theory is... Sephiroth is NOT the villain this time around. That is key to probably understanding everything happening. Again, this doesn't take away from the original "plot", but this is going to set up for a brand new future narratives to explore, after the trilogy.
Also, based on info stated by Japanese players that strongly suggests Sephiroth won't be a villain this time, it's believed that the third installment will be "Final Fantasy VII: REDEMPTION", as it can't be "Reborn" as some believe, there's already "Rebirth", and it's definitely not going to be "Reunion", as we already have "FF7: Crisis Core Reunion". Based on the info we've explored... Redemption, is the only third title to make sense, and that redemption revolving around Sephiroth this time, as last time, the theme of redemption focused on Cloud, and even a little with Vincent Valentine.

FF7 has always explored the subject of "redemption" and that being very central and important to its narrative.
Saying it's going to be "revenge" based on this notion, is observing the game's progression very superficially, and not taking into account, the extensively broad, multidimensional factors at play.
We can assure you, it's NOT going to be "revenge". You can pretty much bet your ass, it WILL be "Final Fantasy VII: Redemption".
1-5: The story is not about timelines as it makes no sense with the FFVII lore and we slowly realize that the whole timeline changing is not a literal universe. Sephiroth can return because of Cloud's memories so Aerith tries to disconnect him so he can never return. But she fails and he returns and a good chunk of the third part is in the physical present of post Dirge of Cerberus while still trying to get rid of Sephiroth in Fnal Fantasy VII REality.
My prediction, Zack is just a tool Sephiroth is using to change their memories and/or fate.

My guess is that she will die in cloud's timeline but she will be somehow saved by zack and get stuck on zack's timeline together. I think this is a plausible scenario to happen.
In OG we know that aerith was able to conjure holy, seemingly from lifestream. Then we saw aerith at the church then disappear. Then in AC, aerith was talking to cloud in his mind, then in the end of AC he saw aerith among the children and went out with zack.
We think these were just apparitions or memories or something happening onside cloud's mind. But it's possible that these are real aerith and zack trying to help the party from zack's timeline.
Probably during the merging of timelines, something will happen and the merging will be incomplete. Cloud from zack's timeline could merge memories with remake cloud (hence he will know the truth that he's not zack) or the delusional remake cloud might even die and get replaced by zack timeline cloud who is not delusional.
Either way, the merging might not completely happen and zack might be able to pull aerith to his timeline before completely dying. Then the two will attempt to assist cloud from their side.
Also there was a leak that originally cloud goes to ancient city to find aerith in the end of AC so i think it's possible that cloud knew somewhere in AC that the two are still existing in another somewhere.

I also believe and would very much like this to happen as well. But more in the sense that after her death, through the lifestream she goes or shares her memories into/with her other self from Zack's timeline. And then we beat Sephiroth AGAIN, the timelines are unmerged and Aerith stays alive in Zack's timeline while she is dead in the main one.
It's just a theory of course, but a very possible scenario.
I guess I just want my boy Zack to be alive and live a good life with Aerith and the rest of the gang, somewhere... someway...

And the last scene in OG where the camera pans to aerith, similar to the opening scene was an indication that aerith is alive in another dimension, pulling strings to help the party.

Here's the issue I have with what you said about how Aerith's death is fated and therefore mandatory due to the original storyline of the game. You need to keep in mind that at the end of FF7R we defeated the Fates. All the whispers and everything that happened to keep the timeline intact such as the whispers saving Aerith from falling in the Church in the upper balcony and blocking our path to keep us from doing anything to change the outcome of what is supposedly "supposed" to happen or NOT happen is now gone as a result. They had the game play out that way for a REASON, and if it wasn't to change the outcome of the original story to prevent Aerith's death, then I'm at a loss because I can't think of any better or more profound reason. A LOT of people begged and pleaded with Square/Enix to put out an update to the original game that introduced a sidequest to bring her back or change the previous scripted events on another playthrough somehow...so that is why I say this. What IF they finally decided to give us the option this time around to change history and prevent that from happening in the first place???

I'm not happy with this though it sounds very plausible. Only if the Cetras gift Aerith life by summoning the Phoenix ... the game hopefully ends with a Rebirth Flame striking Aerith so in Final Fantasy Resurrection (3rd part of Remake) a happy ending can take place. 🥲
