I just love how these guys way over in Europe have embraced all of these 3 great American traditions from the Coca Cola (Atlanta Georgia), the Jack Daniel's (Lynchburg Tennessee) and finally of course the barbecue which was created in the deep American South. And BBQ done properly I might add! You guys rock! Wondering if you have visited the states and any of these places or how you came upon all of these great American traditions. Just awesome 😎🎸🤘
Maaaaate love your enthusiasm each and everytime you post a video and those ribs look mouth watering. I'm definitely trying this out on the weekend. Cheers.
The first time I had Coca Cola Ribs my friend broiled them in the oven for about 2 hours with 3 Liters of Cola to form a glaze. Then put them on the BGE to smoke the rest of the way. Way sweeter and you can taste the Coke.
Muy buena receta amigo, me ha encantado como has sazonado las costillas y la elaboracion y preparacion de las costillas de 10 amigo. Muchas gracias por compartir esta receta. Saludos desde España, Galicia
Sure... they are made of the wood where the jack is filtered trough. Have seen it how its made. Awesome. Pure Jack flovor all over the place when you fire them up :-)
Jack and Coke was my go to drink back in the day. Now Basil Hayden... BUT.... I did my first St. Louis style rack this weekend. My standard dry rub. When I wrapped them I did the butter and added Real Maple syrup.... They were a Hugh hit with the family.... I'm doing them again this weekend with your recipe... I use a Weber 22" Kettle with a rib rack that stands them up on their edge... Works for me... But I'm looking at a treger pellet smoker. 🤙 Good cook guys!!!
Hi Roel and Morrison. I love this channel. Could you maybe do some ribs on a grill with a Dark Rum slant? It's what I drink, so what would would I do with leftover Jack? Not my favourite beverage! Dark Rum BAG plz!
Roel! That looks amazing, i THINK this might be 100 times better if you reduce the coke and the jack for a while to form a really nice glaze! Cheers from Colombia brother
Great recipe going to try it out this weekend. Also, just a heads up on your recipe site "When the ribs have a good smoke colour and the dry rib sticks firmly to the meat" should be "dry rub". Just my grammar pedantry syndrome or GPS kicking in. Thank you for the video.
Hey there Roel. I am making these now and noticed that in the video you use 1 part of Onion Powder but in the ingredients you typed up on the site you left that off. Just thought you might want to know. Thanks for all the great recipes and Happy New Year!
Funnily enough I have made Jack and coke ribs, not quite the same way, i like to reduce the leftover Jack and coke into a sticky sauce! 😉😉😉 you will have to try apple cider next time! Perfect for pork ribs!! 🤤🤤
I’ve also been making my bacon with chosen Scotch or this week Black label Jimmy to use as the binder for the dry rub cure, seal it up with an extra shot or 2, then a week later smoke it, then chill. N slice.. 👌👌👌👌 so much better then plain bacon
El cheapo store brand hotdog mustard works well, so does a light spritz of canola oil. Or, you can simply sprinkle the ribs with about 1/2 tsp kosher salt per pound a few hours before smoking. After waiting a bit, osmosis will draw moisture out of the meat and the rub will stick to that beautifully.
Of course, you can maintain your temperature and there are smoke tubes for gas fired BBQ's. You can do this on a charcoal kamado, wood fired Oklahoma, charcoal or briquet Weber, ...

Just bought ribs today. Next time they hit the menu I'm going to try this. You guys are one of my go to bbq shows.
As i've heard many chefs say, if it's good enough to drink, it's good enough to cook with.
Maaaaate love your enthusiasm each and everytime you post a video and those ribs look mouth watering. I'm definitely trying this out on the weekend. Cheers.

You guys might want to start with seashells by the seashore
Omg sooooooo good 😱😍🥰
At 9:50 when that meat squirts but you don't want to interrupt Morrison, I giggled.
FYI, the recipe on your site doesn't list the onion powder.
Gonna have to try these; they look so good.
I didn't knew Stephen Wonderboy Thompson could also cook. A hero inside the cage and outside!

Would that reciepe work on beef ribs?
How do you get such a good smoke ring with a pellet cooker?

cilantro powder? interesting never heard of or thought of that ,only thing close is coriander seed powder
tried and tested combination here, turns out great every time again.
Where can I find that foil you use. It looks larger than what I can find. Thanks.
That's awesome my question is how much coca-cola Jack Daniels and Worcestershire sauce did you add in the sprayer
I got some wild boar ribs they're thick with meat an m going to marinate them with some Jack&Coke an slow grill them like 4 to 6 hrs.
jack and coke was my go to drink on flights, never tried it on a rib though! Thanks for sharing!

Great recipe, where did you bought the spray? I can’t find any good one here in Holland
Do you use Sherry vinegar or Cherry vinegar ??
There wasn't any Jack by the end was there? Looked good.
Looks awesome!! I haven't been able to find fresh ribs in months, only frozen!!😏😏
Jack and Coke works well as a marinade as well.
Vraagje, in de folie op de bbq vleeszijde naar beneden?
Question, meat side down when wrapped in foil on the bbq?
Ja
@@PITMASTERX Ty very much. I'll try this recepy this week. Very nice vid's and keep going.
If I will have only one bbq grill, wich one do you recomend, the one that can do all: grill, smoke, etc. Thanks a regards from Mexico.
Just get a taco stand.
Looks great! But what about the alcohol in the jack? Does that evaporate?

Lemmy!!!!!!
Some people say whiskey and coke are our enemies... But who says we're afraid of our enemies?
Waar heb je deze spare ribs gekocht?
Just made some for my family. They were gone before you could even say "Ribs"
Yup I drink Jack & Coke while I cook my ribs. They taste good to me😏
Excelente
Jack Daniels, cherry coke or apple cider, crushed red pepper and let the alcohol cook out and it's sauce time

What can you put on the pork for the rub to stick better? Do you use mustard on this as well? I'm gonna try these ribs. They look amazing.

@@gabrielbennett5162 Thanks man. I got some super cheap mustard that I might as well use. 👍 That salt trick is something I'll have to try too.
Cilantro powder or ground coriander seeds?
Lekker hoor!!!
Are peanut butter ribs a thing?
⚠️ As like alcohol, eat these ribs in moderation 🍻
Wizzdogg's off the coke. Got any substitutes?
Ein sehr interessanter Rub und Glaze. 👍👍. Grüße von uns
Can I do this in a Napoleon P500?
Would be nice to hear how this would be possible in other types of grills :D

Jack n coke rum n come 7n 7 they all make tasty ribs when your glass is empty
Always use mustard as a binding agent. It's just better.
