I did not even know that there were lyrics for the Valdres March. On the norwegian wikipedia no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valdres-marsj , it says that lyrics were written by Per Kvist in about 1940. It also says that: "Under Spellemannprisen i Oslo Konserthus i 1987 fremførte Sissel Kyrkjebø den med spesialskrevet tekst til og med Arve Tellefsen på fiolin'" : SPECIALLY WRITTEN TEXT. Also it also mentions that in 2018 VM was chosen as Norway's "National March"
