Awesome video I see you out there Capt Aaron! Such great production quality on this and glad you guys found a nice blob of reds out there, they really are beautiful fish. Just a great representation of Outer Banks fishing and two pros doing work out there!
Thanks so much for watching we are glad you enjoyed it!!! Aaron is the man, there’s more to come make sure to subscribe and stay tuned for a next video! 💪🏽🎣
Definitely very interesting. Feeds my desire to leave my current job and move down there to do just what you have in this video. Love the Point at the beginning !! I love fishing the Point, when it isn’t closed down for birds. What was the water temperature ? Approximately what location was you fishing ? Where you launch from, Frisco or Oregon?
It’s all about the love for fishing 🎣! Thank you so much for watching! We are fishing the southern beaches which you can leave out of any of the major inlets in the outer banks! Water temperature was 69°
@@most1458 Aaron had some custom rods made but we recommend an 7’6- 8 foot medium heavy - heavy fast Shimano Teramar inshore SE edition rod with a 6000-8000 size reel!
Captain Aaron is the best
Nobody better than Jimmy and the crew at OEOBX.
Thanks so much! We appreciate you!
Aaron is a pleasure to fish with. He is so talented.

Fire video!! Did ya'll mention what rods you were using ??
We used a mix of Shimano Terez and Shimano Teramar rods! We recommend a 7’6 or 8 foot heavy rod!
Were you guys down near Cape Point on Hatteras Island?

Dynamic Duo!
Great video guys!
Thank you!!
Great footage. I've long heard that it's bad to lip grip a large fish and lift it vertically.
Epic video. Hope to go next time.
Can’t wait!!
Where did you put your boat in at? Is there a local boat ramp to get to where y’all were right there?
