I am at 493 Days today NO coffee or caffeine today. I found that I was more anxious when I had coffee or caffeine in me. Calmer and more focused without it.
I found out recently that I have autism and adhd and that my adhd is related to my binge eating disorder 😮😢… of which I have struggled with all my life because I have been chasing dopamine that a brain such as mine , and I now realise yours too Carla … is in lack of …so our brains literally cannot function properly… I m crying as I write his partly out of frustration that I never knew this my whole damn life . ( I’m 43 ) and 20 st … and partly I’m crying because I’m relieved I have come across your channel and you are also adhd . This is common in all adhd cases in some way shape or form eg drink , drugs alcohol, eating , shopping … and I honestly think it’s half the battle to actually know the source of our eating or at least part of it … I also had trauma in my childhood, of which I’ve had lots of counselling. I’m relieved it’s not just because we are hopeless and can’t control ourself . Please would you mind doing a video on this subject because I truly believe it will bring awareness to many many people and give them a wider understanding of themself. Xx
newbie here. Gained 50 pounds when I was the sole caregiver for my bedridden and sick husband for four years with no break and my pride stopped me from asking for help. Could not understand how I could put on 50 in only two months. Doctors said stop eating.:( But never considered listening to what I was going through. Stress began to mount and I finally had a mini breakdown. Sadly my husband passed away four weeks later. Sad but I admit I was relieved and needed the rest. Now I am stuck with 50 pounds after another four years but I understand what you mean and I will work on a mind reset. thank you. Let us waste not another moment dragging around extra baggage, whatever that baggage may be. love your post. You are going to help many.
🪴hi Carla, I’m a meat eater but I am really interested in seeing vegan/veggie meals as it all looks delicious! For 6 months I ate a little fish and a few eggs, eliminating meats, however all my meals ended up looking and tasting the same, hence the interest in your meal prep videos! Take care, Laura ❤❤❤

That's food I've never heard of 😀. I love salad, I like to put lots of different things in a salad. I'm eating soups carrot and butter bean soup. I think every day is reset day for me LOL I'm a bit happier 'cause I made it to 82kg, might actually be 81.8kg tomorrow. Wish I could wave a magic wand and be 75kg already! groan Wish I was at reset or maintenance calorie stage. One day. I love watching a day in the journey type vlog, what I eat in a day type thing. Might get some more meal ideas. Thanks
More reset videos would be so helpful. I am on my first session of BodySlims. You've been my pathfinder. For months before signing up, I watched your RUclips videos, at first out of curiosity, then with the realization that someone with as much weight to lose as I have has actually done it. Having lost significant weight before on other programs, only to gain it back immediately and more, how I'm going to manage maintenance is very much on my mind. This is especially so because right now, the difference between maintenance and weight loss seems to be a real stumbling block. I understand the concept, of course, but have a tussle with my Id about it every other day. It's exhausting. Even so, I've managed to lose every week so far on the program. About maintenance, Gerard has said, "Don't go savage, and keep moving," but I'm afraid that's not enough of a guideline. I know he's going to talk to us more about that in the last week or so of this session, but I feel more confident when I can see farther ahead along the road. I'm not a vegan (though moving closer to a plant-based diet), and being older, I have to be especially careful to get extra protein. So I won't be eating quite in the same style as you, but I love the tips you offer for seasoning food. Especially love the Asian flavors you incorporate. Ha, now I know what I'm going to do with that giant cucumber! Thank you, Carla, for your courage and love in putting yourself out there as an example to others. You don't just show us an airbrushed life after weight loss. I appreciate that you're willing to share when things don't go as smoothly. You honestly show us the work we have to do behind the scenes, in order to come out shining. 🌞🌞🌞

Your little boy is adorable! I love what you put in your salad. I bet it tasted really good! I do have a question about Body Slims. It says when you sign up the course starts in September. Since it is June, what do you do until September? I definitely know this course will be perfect for me.
The program doesn't run over the summer. People who have already done a program can kind of keep up what they learned, but if you haven't started, you just have to wait it out. Aside from the seminars (which help with mindset and general knowledge), Body Slims gives you a calorie deficit and recommends taking an hour walk every day (if your doctor approves this for you...obviously some people have limitations due to injuries or what have you). If you wanted to start, I would start with the walks.

It’s boxty. Boxty is kind of like a potato pancake. Black pudding is a traditional Irish breakfast food (a kind of blood sausage). It comes in a long roll and is sliced and fried. The vegan pudding will be a non meat substitute for that. The shape is similar but the colour is different.
She did intermittent fasting while losing weight. Maybe she’s doing it for the re-set or maybe she always does it. She skips breakfast and eats her first meal at lunchtime. She eats the same calories just over less time.
🪴 . My favourite videos are the ones where you show what you eat in a day. I am vegetarian so it gives me a lot of great ideas and inspiration. Love that you do them in a normal kitchen as well!

Amazing!! I'm barely one week no coffee. Woke up one day not wanting it anymore. I'm less bloated and more awake.
