So i read a Supercorp story recently that explored the same theme of this video. What Kara and Mon El had was never real, even in the show. Kara had to force herself to be something she wasn't just to make her and Mon El work. Just like in this vid, the story also explored how Lena was the exact opposite to Mon El. Her and Kara were never perfect, often times things were messy and they butt heads because they view the world so differently, but they always find a way to push those differences aside for each other. Kara is the first person Lena ever truly forgave. Lena is the type of person that never forgets and holds a grudge for life, but not with Kara. Lena found a way to forgive because she couldn't stand hating Kara anymore. For Kara Lena was the only person she felt safe being herself around, even after everything Lena did, Kara still relied on Lena to feel safe. Unlike Mon El, Lena never made Kara feel like Kara Danvers want enough, cause in truth, Kara Danvers was all Lena wanted.
I love how you compare the two relationships. She bent on her morals for Lena in ways she never would for Mon El. Lena chose Kara in the end, no matter how angry she was. Mon El never put Kara first
