    How many permanent and modular sets were used in the production of B5?
    1 permanent set (the Observation Dome) and 5 modular sets (everything else). They would typically be breaking down one or two sets and building out one or two sets at any given time. Noise was a huge management problem with the sets all crammed into a single converted warehouse, so construction had to come to a halt every time someone called action and pick up again every time someone yelled cut. Set dressing was the largest department with lots of modular walls, floors, doors, pipes, fake plants, furniture, crates, plaques, fake garbage and everything else that might be needed.
    Huge contrast to Star Trek TNG with its three purpose built sound stages hosting twenty permanent sets.

    We need a stewards enquiry into question 6. Both Lyta and Talia were Psi Corp in season 1. Lyta was the first commercial telepath sent by Psi Corp to B5. Talia replaced her.

    There are multiple issues here.
    1} Need a Slide to clearly note this is limited to Seasons 1 through 3, not rely on a point on a slide.
    2} is fine because it says THE instead of A. And as much as Ivanova is an amazing XO, she is still not THE commander.
    6} Has multiple answers depending on WHEN, even if you limit it to the first three seasons.
    7} Should have Jeribaldi for those in the know.
    9} All of the Above. Londo is less Cryptic. Zathras and Kosh are less prophecies and more history that has not happened yet.
    11} Technically, the Minbari were involved and kept paying for half of everything with B1 through 4. They threatened to pullout after 4, but agreed to pay for half of 5 but no more. 'Who administers the Babylon Project?' would be better.
    19} G'kar is the better option. Kosh saves John but not out of being an ally. Kosh gets involved in pushing for a single engagement, not an alliance. G'kar provides valuable data, support, and a constant push to be included as a member of the alliance for light. Kosh is a one-off and only does it at the insistence of Sheridan.
    20} 'ancient enemy threatening the galaxy' needs to be in quotes.
    24} I would suggest 'Who is like "the arrow that springs from the bow." as "Chosen One" can fit all of them.
    25) Shadow Dancing is the first military to military confrontation. Messages from Earth is just two lone ships getting into an "accidental" fight. The Start of Wars is never attributed to engagements of scouting or rogue forces.
    26} "elite"? 'What is the name of the force used by EarthGov to take control of Babylon 5?'
    29} None of the Above? Kosh sacrifices himself to win an engagement, but it has nothing to do with B5. Sheridan sacrifices himself, but has no idea it stopped an attack on B5. Marcus Cole is willing to sacrifice himself to save a training base, but nothing to do with B5. "Whose sacrifice stopped an attack on Babylon 5?" Might be better.

      @@RKnights #9 Kosh definitely engages in cryptic prophecy. Example: Season 2: Emperor Turhan: "How will this end?" Kosh: "In fire."

    • @kevinmorbidthelostcronin1984
      @kevinmorbidthelostcronin1984 2 месяца назад +1

      @@KevynJacobs But not prophecy. In WWE, we are shown that Kosh was one of the Vorlons that came to Valen's side to greet the Minbari. His exposure to Valen meant that he most likely was told about all the events up to WWE, which includes the Narn/Centauri War and its resolution. The War did end in fire, by the use of mass drivers on Narn. Kosh was not prophesying, but spouting off a cryptic knowledge of events that had already happened in Valen's life. This is different from the prophesying of Lady Ladira, Londo, Lady Morella, and Elric.
      PS: Lady Ladira's vision is perhaps one of the few things about B5 that I wish I could pay to make the tiniest of changes to the CGI. A change that first-time watchers would never even know had been made and 99% of repeat watchers would Mandela Effect into believing it had always been that way (like saying Entil'zha Valen). But I would like the symmetry, so very Zathras of me.

    If we count Pilot episode, both Lyta Alexander and Talia Winters are members of Psi Corps in Season 1. Well, even if we don't count Pilot episode, chronologically Lyta quits corps way after the Season 1.

  • @Petrosman
    @Petrosman 2 месяца назад

    #6 is kinda weird, cause we don't know when Lyta went rogue, so during season 1 she might still be part of the Psi Corps
    #9 technically Kosh and Zathras are both the right answer :)
    I noticed that some of the alternative answers are references to episodes/movies you haven't seen yet. I'm assuming this wasn't made by the R Knights?
    #25 the war starts in Ship of Tears when Ivanova gets a report the Shadows have started openly attacking Brakiri space. The first real battle was fought by the Vorlons in the episode Interludes and Examinations, the first battle by the younger races was in Shadow Dancing, but the war had been long going by that point so...
    Outside of these questions I got all right (the religious leaders bonus question was a curveball)

    Since you will be moving on to Season 4 here shortly, you do not need to worry about spoilers in the intro credits, it is nothing but clips from the previous 3 seasons with several audio clips as well overlayed to give an idea of what the previous 3 seasons were about.

    Regarding question 9, I would submit that Kosh is way more mysterious, speaks of prophecies and speaks way more cryptically than Zanthras
    I would argue that question 27 is misleading as the answer is the only ship that is not 100% Minbari. It combines Minbari and Vorlon technology
    Two of the options are 100% Minbari ships and the the other option is a Class of ship that the two 100% Minbari ships belong to.
