Great work. I am having an issue that the data validation for the first row of a new entry is allowing for a compound entry selection and the second row of the new entry does not. Is there somewhere in the vba when new rows are added to the bottom that the proper data validation rules are applied
When making a free entry It has more than 100 movements, for example, and let it be, for example, 50 debits of the fund, fifty of the bank, fifty debits of expenses, and fifty debtors of commission, and we recorded those with a total of three movements with a total debit of 200. Here I mean that the difference always appears between the transactions and always, and its second value appears. Why is the balance of each account before the movement and the balance of the account after the movement on me, and this is an exception to the entry work Third I saw the details of the movements on the account and the rest of the accounts. A composite entry is running. This entry must be run. Each independent account appears with transactions with a previous balance. Hello Randy. Have you thought of a way to expand all the compound entries in just one click? That would be sooooooooo useful ...
HI Helene, it works in just one click the way it is now (one click to expand, one click to close) IF you mean when we select on the transaction, then that would be super simple, to just check if it contains "[Compound Entry]" then automatically expand it. That is more of a personal choice so it would be just one line of code for you to add if that is what you would like to happen.

@@ExcelForFreelancers I really mean expanding all the compound entries in one click. Let's say I have 8 or 10 compound entries in a given month and I want to see all the details of all the entries at a glance, it would be nice to be able to click on a single icon to "open" all the compound entries, not having to click on 8 or 10 icons. Really a "plus" when you have to review your accounts at the end of the month. Thanks Randy.
Hi Helene, sure that could be completed quite easily with a For/Next Statement along with an If/Then statement. I just worry if the user has selected all dates, there could be a few thousand rows and this would take some time to complete. Thanks very much.

Hi Jonas, I use it quote often actually. You will see when you download the workbook it is contained in a module already as part of a StopCalc and StartCalc macros.(along with calculations set to manual as well) I use it to speed up the macros in many macros where i want it to speed things up. Hello Randy, thank you. I tried to delete all dummy entries and insert fresh ones, but once i click on refresh, everything will reset and all old entries are back. Is there any way I can permanently delete entries?

Hello Randy. There is a problem with the file. Within compound entries, certain accounts and amounts appear twice. And if we correct the entries, close the compound entry and then open it again, the entries are multiplied.
