As always, Matt, the stories you weave are masterfully put together . They take us along a bygone journey and bring us in intimate contact with past lives. Bravo, Sir.
This is the first story I have had the privilege of hearing you tell and it has brought me to tears. You have a remarkable ability to weave your words and give them such weight as to pull on these old heartstrings. It has been a pleasure.
I remember finding their gravesite as a college student visiting a friend's grave. I was shocked by the headstones all having the same date on them. Took a deep dive then and still swimming!
Great story telling. I have heard of this incedent before but never in the detail you have told it. You have made your old man proud again. PBS where are you?

Hey Matt I enjoyed this video you worked very hard on this one also I appreciate you telling me about James Durham I never heard of this story until you told it and keep up with the good work I can't wait to see your next video whenever you plan on doing it 👍
Thank you so much, the last year saw some challenges that cut into the time I would devote to the channel. I've missed you all, and I do have more projects in the works... stay tuned...
Welcome back Matt! We have all missed you. And just for the record, you haven't lost a thing. What an incredible exploration. Your storytelling abilities are top shelf. I feel as if I know the people you talk about. Your research and attention to detail truly set you apart from most of your RUclips peers. It is an honor to walk with you once again. Thank you for putting everything into what you do. See you soon.
I love your speech style. It's slightly slower, very clear, but still natural and friendly. It can keep me engrossed, and I don't need subs for auditory processing problems. It's a very comforting sound.
Thank you so much for sticking by me through my long silence. I do have more projects in the works and will be on the road again collecting content. Stay tuned 😊

Just came across your page for the first time. Very impressed…very thorough. I appreciate your great research, unique cases, and well read to boot. Thank you- I subscribed 😊❤
A heartbreaking story of missed opportunity and the lack of knowledge, as mental illness was not to be spoken of. It was a shame that the family did not see, nor recognize his behavior that would doom them all to a horrible death. This story is one that will stick with me for a long time.
Only just found your channel this morning. What an amazing narrator you are. You make the victims "come alive" again, and speak so movingly. Thank you for such a wonderful video.
I really enjoyed this one Matt! More than worth the wait. Yours is one of my favourite subscriptions. The ending comments always give me something to ponder. You tell events in a most engaging manner. Thanks so much!! 👍🏽👍🏽👏🏾👏🏾

Scrolling through my subscriptions trying to get caught up from weeks of being away and what do I see but a new Grave Explorations video. That made my day more than any other video I missed!
This presentation was marvelous and so evocative of old, mostly forgotten, tragedies that I, over 100 past that hot blood filled night am touched. I am even sad that Percy died; although he survived 2 world wars and the Influenza pandemic. His life overlapped mine and that makes me feel brushed by a presence. I salute the script writer and whoever created or selected the pictures and drawings that illustrated this presentation. I think the victims would appreciate having their story told this way and having the potential of reaching so many who will now remember them, too. 💔😢
Wow!!! Matt, just prior to viewing this video I watched your new Lincoln Part 1 and it's wonderful. Surely you must be aware how tough you make it on your fans to give you the well deserved praise & respect time, after time! ; ) Thank you so much for what you do.
