For Q8, why’d you multiply 2 by 20?

That’s because the total distance of the rod is 80cm and we know the 2N is in the middle so from point X that’s 40cm. Now the thread is set 20 cm from X so the distance from the thread to the force of 2N will be 40-20 = 20 cm
