All 3 men were in Character so much that they became the Characters they supposed to only play.. Method Acting of someone can turn you into that person without you noticing.. Especially if you have watched tapes, heard audio and visit family members of the person you are portraying to make sure you give the people the best portrayal you can give even if you embody that person to make sure that happens..

I listen to his solo music almost daily. His solo music is slept on. Folks give me grief when I say that. Marvin, Teddy whoever they ain't fuc**** with David Ruffin.

Is it just me, or does it seem like Leon isn't really into doing the interview? Maybe it's his personality but he doesn't seem engaged. But he's such an icon.
He could be tired. Maybe it"s early in the morning. Leon was very professional and savvy in the way that he handled the question of which biopic project, "The Five Heartbeats", or "Temptations" had the better production. That type of question is inviting controversy, strife, and division. Otis Williams asked Leon personally to portray him in the movie, and Robert Townsend is a personal friend who also cast him in a classic movie. Why would Vlad pose that typpe of question to Leon, of all possible things to ask. That's like asking Lawrence Hilton Jacobs, aka "Cochise", which movie had better production, "Claudine" or "Cooley High". It also downplays some of the obstacles and budget issues that urban directors, and producers faced. Leon did well to be vague, and somewhat elusive at times during the interview. Check it Out!
