The bride looks beautiful, nice clothes , jewellery, decorations, food , songs and dance . I approve of everything, but somehow I find this lust of showing off as queen , lots of girls and boys dressed as servants of bygone era looks disgusting. Surrounded with people looking like servants and having a celebration looking like a movie set feels very awkward.

You tell me is it possible for you and me to have a wedding as big as amabani without having as much money as them. No right ? So we don’t even try to complete with them, so why should they try to compete with others. If i have a big budget and am willing To set up the wedding for my children, I shouldn’t have to worry about influencing others and/or what they think of me. Its my money and i can spend it any way I want. Also which kid pays for their whole wedding without their parents, especially in Indian weddings. The elders plan the weddings and pay for it (almost all the time that happens).
