Hi! I'm not sure if it's still a question, but I may have an answer to the café problem: a lot of bigger places accept table reservations, and New York Café most definitely does. Maybe they had a reservation. It's not necessarily the case, but that's my best bet. Also, here service is expected to be polite, not friendly, and they don't hover. Most Hungarians would get the creeps from a server constantly being around and smiling, it gives serial killer wibes. Also, people are generally not "friendly" here. We have close friends we laugh with, and we don't really interact with strangers most of the time (not even other Hungarians). Actually we often find Americans weirdly chipper ;) So talking to random people on the street is weird. It's mostly a generational trauma from when the country was under Soviet control: you never knew who was reporting to the secret police about what nasty things you said about the government. Other comments also mentioned the general political situation wich unfortunatelly did make the general xenophobia more exaggerated. Still, I hope this experience didn't ruin your trip to here!
Hungarians have a different culture. They don't smile at strangers and they find it rude qhen you approach them or talk to them if it is not strictly necessary. The never ask "how are you?" Because it is a private question you ask to your spose and he/she is sick or to your children. They don't smile while they are working or minding their own business the Hungarian smile only comes when they all see their children or someone important to them. Hungarians are very direct and they rarely greet someone, they just say something if it is important for you to know that. I'm not Hungarian, I am Italian but I have visited Hungary a few times, I speak the language (not very well) and I know quite a few Hungarians. Hungary is beautiful and also its people, the culture is just different as it should be in every country. I hope it helps!
Man, im Hungarian living in Australia for the last 40 years and i feel unwelcome when i visit !! Hungarians are tough on the outside but once you get to know them, they are pretty welcoming and hospitable. They are also pretty up front and won't stand for bullshit. On the flipside, Americans have very high expectations regarding service from what they are used to at home. Dont expect that you will get the same everywhere you go.
Thanks for sharing. I'm so glad you met kind people. I'm disturbed by the ignorance you encountered. I pray you have many safe travels and make friends all over the world with whom you can revisit.
I had a similar experience this year. I did not feel welcomed, and some people were just impolite and rude to me when I said things like good afternoon or thank you. I would not say everyone was that way, but is was more common than I expected. It's one of the most beautiful places I have visited, but it is overshadowed by feeling ostracized consistently.
EXACTLY!!! that's how it started for me as well, I would say Good afternoon or thank you, and they would just look at me as if I was an alien. Absolutely gorgeous city but the experience definitely was surprising 🍻
im an arab who grew up in budapest. hungarians, especially in the rural area gonna make u feel how ur not wanted. i speak hungarian with 0 accent, yet everytime i interact with white people, just by the look they give, i feel like a foreigner. i only get along with black people and gypsies
I refuse to believe everyone is sad and angry in their hearts. It’s my 3rd day here and I’m still looking for glow in peoples eyes. Even if for seconds… I understand it’s a beaten city and struggle to forgive still perhaps. Then we come parade with our freedom… I just booked two more days but now I’m going to the buda side since overall, at least the mini market owner was nice
It's so interesting reading comments like this of many people essentially saying the exact same thing. Such a beautiful country but the hospitality or just general friendliness was absent
idk why you refuse to believe everyone is sad and angry... after hundreds of years of oppression to oppression, finally there were like 1 or 2 decades of freedom. but now it's oppression again. people struggling to make ends meet. education in shambles. healthcare in shambles. people have seen better. obviously we are sad. we want better. we want our freedoms back. i know it could be much worse still, eg. we don't have a war going on, unlike the neighbors do. but knowing that the russians can come back again to r.pe the country again after a few decades of not oppressing hungary.... yes, there are many moments of happiness, but people are ultimately disillusioned and hopeless
I've always wanted to travel but haven't had the opportunity. My daughter will be traveling with a student exchange group this March to Budapest. I'm so excited for her. I read in your bio that you are a full-time traveler. I've always wanted to do something like that. Looking forward to checking out your other video so I can learn more about traveling.
That's amazing for your daughter! The beauty of Budapest will definitely captivate her! I definitely recommend adding travel, in some fashion to your routine, even if it's once per year. It's such an amazing experience integrating into a completely different culture and society and finding your way. It's one of the reasons most of my videos are more geared towards raw content amongst the locals vs the luxury travel sector. If you have any questions regarding destinations, how to find extremely cheap flights/accomodations or just general inquiries, I'd be more than happy to assist. Thank you for watching! Saludos 🍻
Oh wow! In Prague I think I was more captivated by the beauty of the city so therefore it wasn't as noticeable, but in Budapest, it was extremely blatant which I was a bit confused by.
Kind of sounds like the US 😅😅 Thank you for the feedback! It really helps other people who may have had similar issues better understand. Thanks for watching! Cheers 🍻
I wish I had watched this video before booking my trip to Budapest. Well, I'm sure there will be something to learn other than the coldness of the people
You must understand that there is a lot of friction within Europe at the moment concerning the subject of immigration. Many people may have assumed that you are an immigrant. You may have had different experiences if you had identified yourself as a tourist, but that may have created other problems of course.
Other problems like what? I understand the immigration concept, which is still unfortunate, however my accent alone was a dead giveaway I wasn't an immigrant so I'm not for sure.
That’s not an excuse to be treating foreigners especially people of color badly, you should be ashamed writing this stuff, tourists shouldn’t be caring about the political landscape of a country they visit, as a Turkish man I don’t like Hungarians much, they are cold and lack simple social skills, considering that my country houses more refugees than Hungary ever will, this gentleman would have been treated much better in Turkey. Hungary is a country I will never visit again. The country is beautiful, the people are not, the word hospitality cannot be found in their vocabulary.
@@bodoor8172 Turkey may be happy accepting immigrants, but many European countries are not. You may want to try being a little more accepting of other people's cultures. You sound quite bigoted. Also, what difference does 'people of color' make? Are they different to other people?
Im sorry you felt this way. Older folks in hungary tend to be more distant and judging against foreigners and anyone who looks different from them. They are just not used to it as Hungary is not very multy cultural and it was even less back in the day and lot of brainwashing is going on aswell. And lot of the working people are tense and unsatisfied with their lifes lately so they can take it out on others during work. But lot of kind and welcoming folks aswell it just depends on who you come across during your travel. Wish you the best! (Im half hungarian half arab, born and raised in Hungary Budapest so I speak from a lot of experience :D)
Oh wow!!! It's a real an eye opener seeing different people from so many backgrounds that had the exact same experience!! It sucks because it truly a beautiful city! Thank you for watching! Cheers!
Hm... My impressions after visiting Vienna, Hungary (3 cities) and Germany (25+ cities) is that Hungarians are closer to Germans and Austrians than to Balcanics - they share many traits with Germans, they are not so merry (unless, maybe, they are having sex or meeting some special friends), they call the bullshit by its name, they are more reserved and, among people they do not know and who do not come up in a context like o conference, they may appear gloomy and focused on finding something to do to just escape any chit-chat. They seem more "northern" then "southern" more "western" than "eastern" - I guess it`s no wonder that Hungarians in Romania get along quite well with Saxons here. They may also look a little wild, but Russians in the Danube Delta may be even wilder.
I definitely feel like the country suffers some type of trauma from the wars and what its gone through through the years. I wouldn’t take it personal. I’m currently in Budapest right now and approaching my 5th day and haven’t had the warmest interaction with any of the locals. However I still see the beauty in the country.
10000% agree with your comment. I keep responding and letting people know that though the people aren't the warmest, I still HIGHLY recommend going to experience the beauty of the city firsthand for sure. Thank you for watching! Cheers 🍻
The Hungarian's can be rude and quite glum looking, but can open up a little once you spend even time around them, I've been told the one's in the countryside are much nicer as well. Some black people have had positive things to say, guy's even go as far as saying the local women are staring and seem quite keen on them, they're pretty used to tourists coming and going a lot though, and can be pretty indifferent about it.
@@janosmiko7985 To be fair, I was told Hungarian's are rude by someone who was staying and working in Budapest for about a year. Then again, I felt he was a strange person, and my experience in Budapest is generally pleasant actually, but I've never stayed there for longer than a week. I do feel they can be glum looking though, but people living in big cities can be because it's so crowded and busy.
@@dcikaruga This is what. I was refering to. This are irrelevant subjectiv nonsens."may friend said, gloomy looking people, look at the black Man" and so on. This is simple village mentality.I see some of you are here now.

Someone said if your dark skinned be careful in places like Hungary.. 🧢 don’t believe these fools. Hungary is great bro how did u not feel welcomed? Was there a situation ?
I am noticing increasing hate. I have been harassed in Szeged 3 times in a week. I am literally traumatized. I am Indian. Dnt knw how i wl cmplt my studies.
OMG, I'm so sorry!!!! This is the exact reason I made this video because I wanted to have a dialogue. I wanted to know if I was just there during an off week or was other people experiencing similar situations. That sucks you're going through that. Such a beautiful country with so much history
Thanks for being truthful, I'm, from India also and was planning to go to Hungary, I had my doubts but now its clear. The thing is once you face discrimination, you can't concentrate on your studies or work as you always worry about the interactions next day
As a Hungarian, I am sad to hear that. I have to admit, it can be a strange situation sometimes for an Indian, because the local Hungarians might assume you are local Gypsy, based on skin color only. And as the local Gypsies are committing most of the petty and violent crimes, that assumption is sadly a negative one. If you go with Hungarian friends, they can defuse the situation easily. Also, if you are alone, if you start to speak in Indian accented English, or Indian accented Hungarian, the local Hungarians will immediately realise the error of their assumption. Hungary have never had any historical conflict with India, we do not have anything against the people of India.
There is no inherent negative attitude from Hungarians towards the people of India. I think the few negative experiences might come from local Hungarians, based on skin color only, making the assumption about the Indian being local Gypsy. And local Gypsies commit most of the petty and violent crimes. But as soon as Indian people start talking, the Hungarian locals realise the error. @@lavista4u
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm Hungarian and I've noticed recently that people are more nervous. The war and subsequent inflation also play a part in this. Unfortunately, there are many problems these days. But I hope they didn't hurt me too much.
@@dcikaruga I live in a small town 38 kilometers west of Budapest. Well, life around here is not easy these days. Not because of everyday problems, but because of uncertainty. We do not know what will be the end of the war raging in the neighboring country. You can't plan because everything is uncertain. Nervous. But Budapest is still beautiful now.
Well, that's a cultural thing. We Hungarians do not smile. We are serious here. Even when we are joking. Really. Hungarians also hate colours, you won't see too many cars that are not on the white-grey-black scale. Hungarians speak soft and the language is spoken with a very flat intonation. All these make foreigners believe we are grim.
Thank you for commenting. I've been waiting for some Hungarians to chime in. That's a very good point you brought up. That's exactly why I'm not quick to rush to judgement and willing to go back to try at least one more time. Very interesting. That thought did cross my mind, however it was just a little surreal for me. It especially didn't hit me hard until after Slovakia. Literally everyone told me that the Slovaks we're racist and not to go, and I went, and it was awesome. I tried to choose my words very carefully because I still want everyone interested to go and Travel to Budapest because maybe it was just my experience. Thank you again for chiming in. Cheers 🍻
I visited hungary (not just budapest) and people were mainly nice and open minded. Oh and i didnt see a single racist person too. Idk why you say this but based on my experience i can say its not true
I’m actually headed to Budapest in two days! Wish I could have seen a little more of what you did. It’s all good, I’m hoping I enjoy it a little more than it looks like you did bro
In restaurants usually you have to book a table. New Your Café is a very touristy place so I think all of the tables was reserved. Most of us are not racist and I'm sure that your bad experiences are not related to racism.
Thanks for watching David. While at New York Cafe, it was around 3pm, and I looked around the restaurant and was at about 25% capacity, ample seating. My interaction here didn't really stand out until similar things kept happening at different bars, restaurants, and even the Budapest museum. Additionally, I never said racist, I just said not welcomed. I'm from the U.S and dealing with people not liking you simply because of your skin color I'm kind of used to, so I try to avoid using that as an excuse. Again, I met some nice people and hung out with locals, I was just highlighting that during that entire month trip, it just felt Budapest was the least welcoming
@@CultureShockAddict Dude, whyte folks will also look for an excuse as to why you were treated the way you were but they will never say it is to do with racism.
@@CultureShockAddict Is funny because the movie serial Police Academy was more watched because of some black actors: the super tall Bubba Smith, Michael Winslow( who could imitate sounds ), Marion Ramsey..without them the serial would have been more boring !
You probably felt that way as Hungarians often get exhausted over the changes in social climate, don`t take it personally this is how they are as they are very emotional. Maybe a little too much emotional.
@CultureShockAddict Over the couple of hundreds of years way too many things happened to them in their own country without their concern. Closing up the early days of communism (1898 - Bel Kun) then followed by the nazis and then the hardcore communism. To them, it will take at least 100 years to catch up with themselves, and I don`t think it will happen peacefully. I think this country will break into a much smaller part soon, as there has been too much injustice over public assets, taxpayers' funds, and over genocides that the nazi collaborators and communists initiated in the country. They are still in shock and once the social conditioning is gone, their people will start realizing what has been done to their loved ones, ancestors, and so on. I have a link where you or anyone could read about what they don`t know yet carried out by the American intelligent agency. Let me know if I can post it below, all declassified and safe for civilians to read.
Hungarians are reserved. Some don't even speak English well or they don't want to speak it because they feel ashamed because they might make mistakes so they just ignore you or answer like theybqould in Hungarian (most Hungarian sentences sound rude in English)
@@aliaflow6877 If you overlook their history you`ll know why and if you attach their history to their personality you`ll recognize the enormous amount of injustice they experienced from their so-called friends. Still, in the end, I hope they`ll be saved by Jesus Christ and they don`t have to suffer from anything and anyone other than themselves. Like it meant to happen to those believing in the Bible`s teachings.
I have never been to this part of Europe, but I have read that eastern Europeans are reserved and diffident. Maybe this is a factor in your restaurant incident. I dream of visiting the beautiful city of Budapest.
Hungary is in central Europe. Every country is different btw. Hungarians don't like to interact with strangers, they are quite reserved, they just don't life "fake" smiles or friendliness. They don't like small talk otr the very private question "how are you". They mind their own business because that's their culture. They are not fake like Americans or people in some other countries
Sorry to hear about that. I've had a couple of instances like that in France but kept it moving. Right now I am more focused on the Caribbean and Colombia at the moment but will return to Europe in time. At least you had a positive experience with another American. Hungarians aren't racist. Of course there are racist people in Hungary but Hungarians are just very reserved and they just don't have a costumer service culture. In Hungary the costumer isn't always right. Anyone who shouts/ talks to them for no important reason/ greet them is just being rude to them (that's pretty much their instinct) so yeah they won't great you
Americans and even people from other western countries or idk "friendly" countries find Hungarians rude because they are very reserved and they never smile or say "please". It is just theri culture, a fake smile or fake friendlyness is seen as something fake and bad in Hungary. Hungarians are very direct and they don't like to interact with strangers.

I think Hungarians are not friendly. I'm in Serbia now and met a bunch of them in the park. I asked them in Hungarian where they are from? They answered but showed no friendliness whatsoever. Serbs are much friendlier.
If you would like to understand that where the bitterness of the Hungarian people come from, You should visit the House of Terror in Budapest. I think, we Hungarians don't like anyone who doesn't respect local customs. British people seem to be on the top of this list for many years by now.
Exactly. I am Italian and everytime I go to Hungary I fewl very welcome, you just have to learn how to respect them (no shouting, no bulshitting, avoid being extra friendly or smiling for no reason, don't say how are you and learn how to speak the language at a decent level and they'll fewl more at ease around you instead of looking at you in a weird way)
I didn't felt welcome too, good on you for not screaming racism like many other would do, I'm white western european and empty restaurants turned my and my girlfriend away saying they are full more than one time 😂 After being tired of the expensive and unfriendly Hungarians restaurants i decided to just go to ear Vietnamese and had good food for a fair price
Yeah I live in the U.S and the word racism is literally just thrown around and even weaponized by a certain political party that could careless about combating it, so I try my best to avoid labeling places and people. It's crazy because that happened to me three times!!! The third time, I actually went shopping and bought some nice clothes and shoes, and even made a reservation, but nope "sorry sir, we can't honor your reservation, were overbooked" SMH. All in all I'm glad I was able to relay my experience to the world. Thank you for watching!
I agree, I should have studied more Hungarian before arriving. When traveling, I am extremely friendly and because it makes for great RUclips comment, but even more it helps me because I'm naturally an introvert, so I force myself out of my shell, and even so, it was still just a off vibe. Idk what it was. I'm willing to go back and give it another shot because the country is absolutely breathtaking. Thank you for watching Mardom! Cheers 🍻
In Hungary, in some (in fact, in a lot of) restaurants or shops, the unfriendly behaviour of the staff is the relic of the Communist past, when they got paid a fix salary by the state, irrespective of customer satisfaction, or irrespective of even if they sold anything or not. Of course, the economic situation is totally different now and this attitude is counter-productive in a Capitalist environment, but since it is human behaviour, it changes real slowly. If you go more to the East, for example to Russia, you will find they are outright rude to customers there. In commerce, in transactional situations, this happens with locals: no fake Western commercial smiles and asking how do you do, when they actually don't care. BUT! In a personal situation, however, the behaviour of the people changes. Like when the lady, after 5 minutes of conversation with you as total strangers, invited you to go to party with her and her daughter to celebrate her diploma. I hope you accepted the invitation. In such situations, if you go with the flow, you can easily make life-long friend with Hungarians. @@CultureShockAddict

I went to Budapest recently with my cousin on June 1st-5th, 2023. Coming from an East Asian background, we felt unwelcome, and that developed our opinions that Hungarians are racist. It's only a few Hungarians are friendly. Maybe I should visit there again as solo to get more perspective.

It's not racism. There are just countries that not really like foreigners other than the tourist industry. And in some countries people are just cold towards strangers in general. Also if you only were in the capital, Budapest, then that's also a different question. People in the capital are even more cold towards strangers/outsiders. Just because people not going up to you like as if you were some world famus celebrity that not means "racism".
Just back from there. One of the nicest cities iv seen maybe the nicest. However the people there were shocking in there attitude. They depend on us to keep there economy going.

I heard the weather was similar at least.
Hi! Hungarian here! So, first of all, Hungary has no colonizing roots, so the population is quite monolithic - basically you get the shades of white Europians most of the time. Of course big cities like Budapest or Debrecen are still "world cities", so you'll find a lot more diversity there from people coming to work to college students to tourists, but still, the majority is white. Second, the culture is very different. People here are more xenophobic than racist, it's just that white people have to speak before they get the "foreigner" label. Still, as a tourist I wouldn't worry about unpleasant incidents, just keep in mind that people won't be smiling on the street or randomly start to talk. And that's true for Hungarians as well, we just usually mind our own business and won't bother with others'. Greeting someone on the street will get you weird look, it's just not a thing to talk to strangers unless you're asking for direction or something. I've also heard that we tend to "stare", looking at people for a longer time than they're usually comfortable with, but as a local I don't really notice that X'D Service culture is also supposedly very different, here the staff won't just smile all the time and they don't hover. We expect respect and politeness from both the workers and the customers, but we might find an overly friendly attitude offputting. Also, a lot of older people don't speak languages, so depending on the area you're in you might have trouble with comunication (in big cities most establishments providing service will have staff who can speak English, but don't expect it from the rando on the street). Of course actually living here is another topic altogether, and I'm not familiar with it, but I would imagine that it could be dificult to fit in. But as a tourist, I would just be careful about the usual things - pickpockets on the public transport, money exchange scams (seriously, the automats are a joke), taxi scams and the ridiculously overpriced tourist trap food places. I'm obviously very biased, but I think Hungary is worth visiting as there are a lot of beutiful things to see ^-^
yes their are racist people in hungary and budapest just like there is racist in every country and city in world...but its ignorant to call an entire nation racist. In my opinion, I think that people travelling expect to be treated the same way that they are used to, but people do not have to like you, respect has to be earned and it takes time. So many people travel to other countries and then complain that they didn't feel welcome. Well, everyone has different expectations, people are wary of strangers. I've had many issues travelling, but I don't broadcast it, I learn from it. Hungarians do not smile on demand and neither do many other European countries, it's not like America or the UK where everyone is smiling and saying "hi how are you". usually with a very practiced smile. I have felt the same way as you, and many times I actually felt a bit hurt because I took things to personally, but eventually I learned that it's just different and now I like it. I'm not Hungarian, I am Italian but I have visited Hungary a few times, I speak the language (not very well) and I know quite a few Hungarians.

Last summer I was in Budapest for 2 weeks like It so much I stayed a month. Everyone’s experiences will always be different.
I am not a white person, im brown. I am adopted from Brazil. But I had no problems with the people in Hungary. They were nice and friendly to me.

Saludos 🍻
Don't!
Budapest and Prague are pretty unwelcoming to tourists. I felt it much more in Prague to be honest.
Oh wow! In Prague I think I was more captivated by the beauty of the city so therefore it wasn't as noticeable, but in Budapest, it was extremely blatant which I was a bit confused by.
I live in Prague and I'm North African. I have never had an issue

@@CultureShockAddict I meant other problems such as unscrupulous people trying to take advantage of a tourist.

Older folks in hungary tend to be more distant and judging against foreigners and anyone who looks different from them. They are just not used to it as Hungary is not very multy cultural and it was even less back in the day and lot of brainwashing is going on aswell.

@@lavista4u

Well, that's a cultural thing. We Hungarians do not smile. We are serious here. Even when we are joking. Really. You probably felt that way as Hungarians often get exhausted over the changes in social climate, don`t take it personally this is how they are as they are very emotional. Maybe a little too much emotional.
That's very interesting, first time I've heard this.

I'm obviously very biased, but I think Hungary is worth visiting as there are a lot of beutiful things to see ^-^
i was born here and absolutely hate it, don't worry lol
Do you think Mexicans would get treated same? I'm planning a trip there in November.
I believe you'll be perfectly fine! It will be chilly, pack some extra layers. Thanks for watching and enjoy your trip!
You will be treated bad like everyone else no exceptions for Mexicans
you are welcome if you dont want to stay here!
It's really dark city this time of year.
Everyone is welcome there
Naw they racist
I don't know if I would say racist, but it was definitely some off putting vibes
yes their are racist people in hungary and budapest just like there is racist in every country and city in world...but its ignorant to call an entire nation racist. In budapest they could care less what race you are it helps if you try and speak the language but also in tourist areas people arent super friendly since they are all hustling to get money
@@CultureShockAddict yes you can say...
yes we are racist.
@@andrasandras8436 why u lying just because you are racist doesn’t mean all Hungarians are. Hungary’s history doesn’t even interact with Africans the only time we fought other races was when Turkish Ottoman Empire was tryna invade us
If you are dark skinned be careful in places like Hungary, they have an influence of Russian right wing populism and Orban plays into that very well. Even the EU wants to take away their membership due to alarming hate
YES, as a Hungarian I can tell you have right, we hate blacks and we will leave the EU soon as other countries also will because of a lot migrants from africa..
@@andrasandras8436 I don't think it has to do with just Africans, Hungarians are sick hateful kak by design, before Africans came it was Roma and other minorities. Meanwhile they are undesirable parasites and immigrants in western Europe living off the economies of rich EU nations. Their main exports are body selling women, pickpockets, human trafficking and general crimes. Kick them out of EU now!
@@andrasandras8436 Moron, you hate all non Europeans, Orban brainwashed you to think that way even if Hungarians are mostly slavs mixed with Asians by genes.
🧢
Wathing too much cnn i presume?
budapest likes indians?
I recommend not going there
I may go back one more time in the future once the bad taste is out of my mouth
@@CultureShockAddict please never come back!
@@andrasandras8436 did you watch the video Andras? I never said anything bad about the country or the people, I simply relayed MY experience and asked if any locals had any suggestions or tips for future travelers. You telling me in the comments to "Never Come Back" sort of verifies my experience.
@@CultureShockAddict why would you want to go back? trust your instincts. as a white American traveler I didn't feel good in Korea which is xenophobic, I wont be back. the world is too big for that. a lot of countries where you will be welcome and life is short
I recommend going there! Ive been to hungary and it was good
Don't yell or cry that hongarian are racist, not at all, they refuse be mixed to other strange races
Well, that is kind of a racist thing, isn't it?
That's deflection. I hope you get physiological treatment for your hate of a man just based on his color.
That's categorically racist.
Maybe best to think before writing.
Or maaaaybe Hungarians just not a fan of outsiders and cold towards any stranger in general.
This is disappointing. I’ve always wanted to visit Budapest and searched for a video. This is the first to come up and I’m not going.
I wouldn't let my experience deter you. Even more, the city is absolutely GORGEOUS and definitely recommend at least experiencing and seeing the city yourself. Your experience and interactions with the locals may be a lot better than mine was, you never know. At worst, visit for a few days, and if you love it, stay longer, if not, you have several other countries a quick train ride away!! Thank you for watching Riley! Cheers! 🍻
And stop calling it Central European, it is nothing but an ex soviet Eastern European dictatorship controlled by Russia but surviving on EU funds. It could be taken off the map and no one will notice.
Interesting take, I actually overheard someone saying something very similar one night at a bar in Budapest. I don't know enough about the history to comment on that. Thank you for watching the video though James. I will be back in Europe soon, hope to have you around! Salud! 🍻
I would
It's post-communist but not post-Soviet. Athough based on your comment that's too intellectual a detail for you anyway lol. Keep hating!
@@yabbagabb00 They really are acting like it right? Elected mini Putin as prime minister, most racist country in the Europe. wants NATO and EU money but imports hate and ideology from Russia.
post-communist, not ex-soviet. At least check the facts before writing your nonsense.
I have been to Budapest many times, the first time was in 2000 and I went there quite spontaneously.
Thank you for this, you've reminded me of my time there :) subscribed
Ich liebe Viktor Orban. Der beste Präsident in Europa ist Viktor Orban. Ich hoffe er leistet auch in Zukunft sehr gute Arbeit.
