I was thinking about booking the same type of room on the New Seashore next November. Do you have any idea if the couch in the living room pulls out too?
Hi Phat Mob Adventures , thanks for watching. The sofa in my suite did not convert, but there seems to be no rules as to where MSC adds either a pull-out or one of their interesting pop-up sofa bunks. There was the pullman bed in the second bedroom though.
How did you find the balcony with that half wall? The view looks like it would be obstructed unless you are standing up? Any tips for a family taking the cruise?
Hi Tim, thanks for watching. Unless you are standing, the view on he balcony is quite limiting. Honestly, we sacrificed the view in order to have the extra space including the second bedroom and bathroom. We've taken our kids 3 times on the Seaside and they loved it every time. The waterpark is one of the best with plenty of shade and fund slides. Make sure you try to get to the show in the main theater every evening. The shows are different each night and only around 45 minutes long with incredible performances. The kids clubs are also good, but can be a little disorganized at times.
Definitely worth half the view! The 2nd bathroom and beds are worth it. There are several places to get a view besides the balcony. We would use our balcony for coffee in the morning and all stood with cocktails in the evening before dinner.
Hi Dre Woke, thanks for watching. Not trying to hid the price, just not relevant as pricing changes all the time. I can tell you that in the years since, that room category has doubled in price.
Hi Alexa, thanks for watching. I'm sure you will like this suite. It's not fancy, like many other cruise lines, but the space, inclusions and pricing absolutely makes up for it.
Hi Jared, thanks for watching. All of the music contained in our videos is purchased by us and we do not provide links to the tracks to maintain some originality and uniqueness.
Hi Robert, thanks for watching. I don't disagree with you. In fact, I mentioned that point in my video of the Seaside's Aft Suites. There is no discernible difference with the decor or finishes on the MSC Seaside's suites and regular staterooms. Most cruise lines suites offer an upgraded level of amenities and finishes. On the other hand, these suites on MSC Seaside are priced well below other cruise lines as well. On another note the MSC Divina (cruising seasonally from Miami) has some wonderfully appointed suites.
I agree, these remind me of the basic “Inn”. Many other lines do a much better job at style, but this one clearly has a deficit in that area (and it matters to us)
Hi mcbeeze, thanks for watching. The rooms I've had on MSC Seaside were very nice and comfortable, but the decor and finishes are not up to the standards of other cruise line's suites. But then again, the cost of these suites (and the inclusive Aurea amenities) on MSC are literally thousands of dollars less expensive thanks most comparable cruise lines.
the living room looks like the conference room in a circa 1980 Holiday Inn. Too many arm chairs and not enough comfortable seating. Awkward furniture arrangement. Not impressed. If I'm looking at suites, I'm usually not looking for a bargain. With all the bedding options, at some point the suite becomes a dormitory. However, great photography and narration. very informative. Will be looking for more reviews.
Hi don, thanks for the comments. Again, I stayed in the room to accommodate my family of 5 with separate bedrooms and two bathroom plus those amazing perks.
Hi trg7843, thanks for watching. I agree the decor is not the best, but, a suite of this size with two full bathrooms would cost at least $4-$5 thousand more on some other cruise lines. Not worth it in my opinion. Plus you would still not get the included beverages and other perks.
I just went on this cruise 2 days ago and we had this room, it was amazing and our house keeper was amazing
Hi codyjustin9926, thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed your cruise!
Went on Seashore a few days ago and already booked next cruise. Looking at changing our two cabins to this one, looks amazing!
Hi Footlong49er, thanks for watching. It is nice space, but you lose much of the view when not standing.
Thanks for making this video. I'm looking at booking the same room for my family.
Hi Will_0001, thanks for watching. Other than the slight obstruction of views when sitting, this is a great room for families. Enjoy!
Looking at getting this room. Looks like they allow 6 people now.
Hi BlueCollar Nation, thanks for watching. There was always room for 6, just capacity controlled but never made any sense.

Did you find the balcony windy .
Hi Martin, thanks for watching. Not especially, since it has a pretty high wind screen to deflect somewhat.
Is 2-bedroom Grand Suite 12001 same on Seashore?
Hi skpatke, thanks for watching. Essentially the same, may have minimal difference in size and/or decor and layout.

Thanks much, we are doing the Seaview out of Barcelona, and totally agree on the benefit of the 2 bathroom and 2 bedrooms.

So why would you not tell us the actual price you paid for the suite ?

awsome bc im going in july lol awsome @lovedatpuppytho

Link to intro music?

Sad to that bit of luxury that used to apply seems to be gone - this suite has some space but no style

The room decor and layout are ugly and just sad.
I would spend a couple thousands more and get a proper suite on other cruise line.
