- 26 is a landmark step into adulthood.
You're probably starting to get off your parents insurance, thinking about
either settling down, or considering pivoting from running your head into a wall about how to get famous to monetize what you have spent your entire life learning which is how to make music.
I took a time machine to talk to my younger self about getting into sync licensing and decided to share it with everybody.

This video was very encouraging, it was exactly what I needed to hear right now. Thanks!
I'm in my 40's - While I've lived off it most of my life, the last 4-5 years took me from big to booom, life changing levels of success. You don't really know when you'll boom but it definitely requires consistency, talent/skill stacking, and when it gets traction turning it into an actual business with quotas and output and scalability and everything else that comes with trying to build a timeless brand/catalog. I'll also say - we're in the hybrid era - you ARE the label, the artist, the producer, you can operate as tons of aliases, you can keep 100% of all of it/sell the catalog one day for healthy multiples if it gets big.
💎 all day
@@xj_will I commented before realizing this is all sync stuff you're doing. My success comes from streams/big catalog. I just let my DISCO subscription expire because I just don't have the time to manage sync plus continue scaling the streams/main catalog. I have over 10K tracks, maybe we should talk, I'd be more than willing to share profits if you know how to get stuff placed. I have music in literally every genre, and stuff made for film/moods/scenes/beats/orchestral, etc. is that something you have done before (looking after others catalogs?).
fire. love hearing that u can do it as a side hustle cuz i feel like i have to do shit all or nothing but naw now i might slowly build this on the side thx fam!
