Will it run after being UNDER WATER? Took it for swim in flood water. Sat over a year full of water!

- A friend of mine showed up for work all banged up. When I asked him what happened he said he tried to cross a flooded road and ended up in the river. As he tried to exit the truck, the current was so strong it ripped the door off. He ended up standing in the bed half submerged in water, clinging on for dear life. Thankfully he was rescued with only a few bumps and bruises, but this truck spent the night underwater. Hoping to save his trusty ride he pulled the oil drain plug as soon as he got it home and there it sat. A few months later he offered to sell it to me, knowing I sell parts. I bought it and there it sat for the next year or so. Wanting to make some space for more classic cars/trucks I decided see if I could get it running. If it ran, I would move to getting the transmission working, figuring that it too will be full of water. My expectations are not high but hey, its a Chevy. Will it run? You will have to watch and see.
In high-school I had a couple friends that had extremely nice vehicles and they went out drinking and totaled out there vehicles but thankfully they didn't die but yeah drinking and driving isn't worth the risk at all

Sadly, while building a Chopper out of my 1200 Sportster, I noticed the front forks said "made in Japan" on them, SMH. AMC, Indian, and Harley I get but %ord? Sorry, don't use the F-word on my channel. LOL! Besides, isn't Baseball, hotdogs, apple pie, and Chevrolet the American icon? Long live AMC!!! HMM, might be time to build another bike.
