KTM 690 SMC has a secret

Welcome back Katem fans! In this video I talk about a secret tool compartment located in the 2022 KTM 690- SMC-R. If your not familiar with this or have never heard about it this Is good information for you to know. I talk about were to find the tool kit,how to take the tool kit out of the supermoto, motorcycle and what's included in the tool kit and what it's used for. After a brief explanation about what's inside the tool kit talk about how to put the kit back in the sumo and how to put the cover and seat back on. That's awesome your going to love it!...just keep an eye on the oil level, big thumpers tend to consume oil.

At least you got a tool kit with your Bike. I recently took posession of my 2023 690 Enduro R, there was no tool kit (Montreal Canada, Region); thus prompting me ask other owners - Did your 690 come with a tool kit?

Another secret is the quick shifter isn't active at point of purchase its possible how they lure you back in for the first service. 22 ktm 690 smcr

This is barely enough for the small first aid kit you have to have with you by law here where i live + the registration papers. I wish it also had a compartment on the right side :/

I agree... but I added the Rotweiler air intake,this added about 3/4 gallon of empty space.

I work at a KTM dealership and could not get a key. Other option is to buy the ignition system ,it comes with 2 keys or... go keyless
