The Big Boss, also known as Fists of Fury, marks Bruce Lee's breakout role and serves as a cornerstone of his illustrious career. The film follows the story of Cheng Chao-an, a young Chinese man who moves to Thailand to work at an ice factory alongside his cousins. Despite his promise to his mother to avoid fighting, Cheng soon discovers that the factory is a front for a dangerous drug smuggling operation, led by the ruthless big boss, Hsiao Mi. As Cheng's cousins begin to disappear mysteriously, he realizes that he must break his vow of non-violence to protect his family and uncover the truth. With the help of his newfound ally, Chiao Mei, Cheng embarks on a perilous mission to take down the corrupt organization, utilizing his extraordinary martial arts abilities and unwavering determination. do you remember the feeling in the ambient reality in those times, there was something special in the air that's been missing for many many years, it's hard to explain, but it was something in all Bruce Lee movies that had a freedom in the ambient about the sets, I wanted to just be there, maybe it was just China at the time, but it was beautiful.

You may explore with new skills. Good.
But, none can copy Bruce Lee.
Hope you know, that, the action scenes in Bruce Lee's movies were shot in very slow motion only.
Because the camera could nor catch up with lightning speed of Bruce Lee 's action movements.
So, like we have only one super star Rajini, THERE is only ONE fire ball BRUCE LEE
Copying him is out of imagination.

I miss the old Kung Fu/Hong Kong theatre days in the 80s on Saturdays. My mom of all people used to watch them with me. I loved that shit so much. It's probably why I never minded watching movies with subs even today. Which is great because there are some amazing movies coming out of countries most Americans don't know the language like for perfect eg S Korea. They've been killing it the last handful of years.

Been a fan of this movie (and of course Bruce Lee) forever! But, I love the original U.S. release, which they mistakenly called it “Fist of Fury”… mainly because of the extremely “cheesy” music soundtrack that it featured. Classic!

I watched this on TV , probably back in the '90s and was surprised to hear the opening bars to Time appearing quite prominently through the film, as well as Obscured by clouds and The Grand Vizier's Garden Party, of course, we didn't have the internet back then, so no Google or IMDB etc to look up things that wouldn't have been in reference books.

No comparison though. Bruce Lee was a natural talent and devoted martial artist who practiced his art at a spiritual level, seems to me. Pink Floyd were a highly overrated band who managed to tap into and become part of the military-industrial-entertainment complex star system to produce mediocre pop music.

@@teach-learn4078 Dems fighting words! Pink Floyd was over rated?!? Let's see, The Dark Side of the Moon album was the #1 selling album for decades according to Bill Board. Every. Single. Concert. they've done for 40+ years has sold out HUGE stadiums (100,000++) in minutes, literally minutes. I could go on and on and on, but everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it's wrong, lol.
