- Today we're sharing a tribute to our Haru, and what a special dog she is and how far she has come. Haru is truly the most special and brave dog. In our update we we are helping our IVDD French Bulldog walk again by taking her outside for the first time. Nothing hurts more than when your dog is sick and you're told your French Bulldog needs IVDD disc surgery AGAIN that could risk their lives AGAIN. This time recovery has been much harder so it has taken us longer for her to be able to go outside. Our hearts are broken into a million pieces, our family still can't believe this has happened to our baby Haru one more time. Today I'm sharing Haru's life story to spread some joy and hope as well as what happened with our French Bulldog Haru and how we are helping her recover and walk again. Poor Haru, The saddest thing is he doesn’t know what’s going on, thank goodness he has so much love around him and lots and lots of patience from mom and dad, and sis and bro. Love you so much Haru, I have a bad back too it’s rough, but things are going to get better. Take your pain meds And do as much PT as you can one day at a time just a little bit, eventually you’ll be back to normal. One day at a time little bits of physical therapy he sure Does love his walks with the Fam..❤❤❤❤❤❤
She was so adorable when she was a puppy. And she is so happy with her family. I pray and Hope that she gets better. And Griffin and her can run around to their hearts content. Hope the whole family is coping well, there is so much love there. That Haru can't help but get better

Haru looked nervous at 1st until she realized she was getting fresh air & not headed to the vet. She was an adorable baby potato & we all love her so much. I believe I heard Sienna say her name, so sweet. Keep up the good work sweet family. 😍🥰🐶👍🙏

Haru is so fortunate to have her family. My best little friend was a rescue dog and 50% pug, 50% dachsund, 100% neurotic. Like Haru, she had many ups and downs. But, they want to give love and be loved. What a beautiful blessing. Love your videos, you have a phenomenal family. Your posts are always very uplifting.

Hi, commenting again here so hopefully you will see. I am so sorry to hear about Haru going through another IVDD surgery. I have a frenchie that has gone through 2 IVDD surgeries this year as well. One thing we had done for him was a procedure called a PLDA or Percutaneous Laser Disc Ablation. It is essentially a laser treatment that quagulates the disc material in the dogs spinal discs and turns the consistency of the disc back to a softer gel instead of the hardened material that breaks and causes IVDD incidents. I'm not sure if you have a nuerologist near you that knows how to condut the procedure but I would definetly look into it. It lowers the incident rate from 30% to 5% of rerupter of the discs and they do all the discs in pets back in one go. I hope Haru feels better and stays healthy! My 13-yr-old greyhound's hind legs do the same thing, kind of flopping around & when she shakes herself, she loses her balance like a drunken sailor! Her legs will never get better but like Haru, she just keeps going, as long as there is tasty food & bellyrubs & a soft place to sleep & dream about her days as a racer. Haru has many good years ahead of her with the family who loves & cares for her. And I notice she is standing & walking w/out curling her paw backward---that is a VERY good sign! Keep up the good work!

Get well soon Haru.. recovery this time is slow but with plenty of love and care, she'll eventually get better, however slow it may be. Hard, Sienna and Griffin are precious little ones. Thank you for taking care of Haru. Much love and prayers for your family.
Our little girl Pepper is a partially paralyzed Frenchie. She is a happy girl and loves her treats. She quickly tries and misses her house mates, but she enjoys her walks and still plays before dinner. We love her greatly and make sure her life is full. Haru and Griffin are very special, and we know exactly what you are experiencing. Their lives are so short, and they give love without bias. Hug them, kiss them, and treat them well... They are God's gift to us. Heal fast Haru! We love your video!

I have six rescue dogs, all special in their own way. They are our children, along with our human babies, and we love them just the same. Thank you for being so dedicated to your pups, it’s amazing to see. Too many people treat dogs like objects, not living and breathing creatures.

Haru is with the right and perfect family. I am a retired Registered Nurse and any surgery there must be physical therapy and you all have got this. She couldn’t be in better more capable hands. Poor dog she is lucky she has you. Another family could not afford to do this nor would they have time with a small child and all the responsibilities that brings.
Our little Boston Terrier fell onto pavement at 6 months of age and had a surgery inserting two pins into her tiny femur but as devastating as it was, she is fine now; able to walk and run with ease-you would never know she had a surgery so young. Your sweet potato will be back to her ❤️ active and joyful self in no time. We send our best wishes for her swift recovery from Calgary Alberta!!! My Nisse would love a puppy date when she is healed💜

I have never loved two potatoes so much, that I haven't even met! Haru is doing so well, thanks to the excellent care of her family! Two back surgeries is a big deal to go through for all of you, but Haru will get her strength back in due time. Slow and steady wins the day!
