This might be album of the year for me and I reeeeeally liiked the forever story and mr morale. Sza sounded like she was really going thru it on this one. I'm glad she was able to get in the studio and do conceited cuz moments where you're "feeling like a billion" are rare and fleeting after you've given everything to someone. the fact special comes right after breaks my heart. Also RIP ODB that ending is so cathartic after such an emotional rollercoaster.
Agreed. Conceited was on a high then it got depressing on Special, but that is so realistic and relatable at the same time. Sometimes the "I'm that girl" feeling dont last always
Definitely my fav SZA album, and DEFINITELY one of the best albums of my lifetime!!! She poured her whole heart out, gave us 23 SONGS, showed SO MUCH versatility, and still kept it COHESIVE?!? She is a literal genius. We don’t deserve her mastery 😭🙏🏾🔥
SZA is showing off her personality a lot throughout the album. It has its bops, toxic behavior, sad moments etc. After a few listens I told myself the lyrics have to be saying something because I was more focused on pace and vibe. From Ctrl to this is awesome. Even when I looked at the production credits she's still working with a core of 3 producers for the most part. My favorite project by her. 😍😍😍😍😍😍 and BTW NOBODY GETS ME, broke me special because I Broke with my husband. And ok this is sad for me w listen to it. But it's so beautiful that I can't stop listening to.
i was kinda worried this album would be a lot of filler songs since it's 23 songs, it's crazy how she was able to stay consistent for over an hour yet still played with so many genres/vibes.. AMAZING
I don't like the bbl era SZA. 😭The only 2 new songs that I like are Good Days and Hit Different. She peaked around the time of Anti - Rihanna collaboration. 'Consideration' was AMAZING. 😍And her prev albums.
