Hello Ash! Classical music snob here - the second pattern can be referred to as "broken chords" - a common exercise pianists use for playing rhythmic chords using all the inversions.
there's 2 options if you don't know anything about chords 1. if you're willing to learn, watch this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLPboS4uYgE8qWAkEEixUvkc0jUnPFRlPe&si=dapFLmSa1LFntKyr 2. if you don't wanna learn, maybe music composition / production isn't for you
Just found your channel a few days ago! You explain things so well. Not only am I learning something, but your videos are funny and entertaining. Keep up the good work!
I usually kinda use the riff type melodies, in my current experiments, but I really like to use triplets. Therefore I have some short triplet changes between notes . I either have all three on the same note, or some minor jumps. But I never thought about combining Arp like melodies, with these ones. I'll definetly try it out^^
What about the melody that knock2 use on the last song of their Room202 show set. When the people asked for last song, he touched a song that after the drop had a melody so emotive, nostalgic and it almost made me cry.
that "armnhmr can't let you go " song is fucking insane. how tf ppl make saw layers that good....
That last part when you started combining everything felt so rewarding ! Definitely gonna try that :D
spoiler alert!
