Tour de fleece is a great way to get into a daily practice of spinning. It doesn't really matter how much we get done during that timeframe (though it is fun to challenge ourselves). It was fun to spin along with you. Keep on spinning!
This was my first Tour De Fleece as well. Geeking out on fibre arts shenanigans with similarly minded people was wonderful, and the feedback was great: I hadn’t joined any spinning groups yet and had never had any feedback on my yarns before except maybe from non-spinners. And it’s amazing how much can be learned from spinning every day. I’ve been spinning for less than a year and the progress I’ve made in these short three weeks was so big! Your videos and Jente’s were fun to watch, it felt a little as if I was spinning together with you. Your Tour was a success! Thank you for sharing your experience, I always enjoy your videos!
@@MijnWolden i might not have to win the lottery to get sheeps :) my friends are starting a small homestead and weve been talking about sheeps for a little while now ;) breed selected and all haha
Congratulations on your first tour de fleece :) I did my first one this year too and really enjoyed watching your videos while I was spinning my own yarns! And I think we did around the same amount of yarn over tour de fleece which is really cool
In part because of the inspiration of spinners and their videos like you and Miss Chaos goblin whose name I can’t spell and people like Sarah Howard, was finally spinning again for the first time in probably over a year. And my end disappeared and I could not find it and I was making a mess so I said screw it. I just attached again and I decided finding the end will be plying me’s problem. It was more important that I just kept Spinning. And, yes, long draw is a delight when it’s working.

4 beautiful skeins! And of course a fiber artist will want a farm with sheep when they win the lottery :D
