That whiff of nostalgia I got from your "good luck" at the end of the video. I always feel transported to a time when you were my skincare big sis. 🥹🫶🏼
I prefer cleansing balm because they remove literally everything!! It melts makeup & dirt off your face. I do it once to removed everything & then again to clean my face on the days I don't use my prescription facewash. I have a skin condition & cleansing balms are one of few things that don't make it worse. I used to love the Clinique one, but the one by Soap & Glory is just as effective but at a fraction of the cost!
The manyo cleansing oil is one of the worst I’ve used. Not only is it not very effective, bad at removing water resistant mascara. It’s so thick that I have a rub hard on my face every time I use it. Try hadalabo, it’s one of my fav. it’s so much more emollient and “soft” feeling.
everything that u recommend from the early days of your youtube era i would definitely buy them, girl you make me broke😂 i wish i could still get my hands on your iqqu brushes cause back then i was still in primary school & can only dream to get those
Michelle, I love you and have been watching you since I was 12-13 years old but you only upload when you are being sponsored, you did even upload a Thanksgiving vlog this time
I've never heard it described as pre-cleanser then your liquid cleanser as the double cleanser. I have heard the term double cleanse(ing) which is a 2-step cleansing process, starting with your balm/oil based cleanser then 2nd step is your liquid/gel cleanser so I was a little thrown at first if u were just referring to double cleansing without actually using that terminology.
Same. I've always heard first cleanse (the proverbial "precleanse") and second cleanse = completes the double cleanse process. The way she explained it made it sound like you precleanse and THEN double cleanse (wash your face twice with the second cleanse product)...
While I understand how it's frustrating, I believe she only supports products or brands that she truly uses or believes it does help. Prior to this video, I've used their cleansing oil, and it's one of my favorites. I've been wanting to restock, so this video was very validating and helpful to me. Hopefully if you're looking for any skincare products, you'd be open minded to trying. Pst: it's great to support creators but if that's hard for you to do, the alternative is to just buy the products on your own without her affiliates. 😊 I just love supporting her so to each their own 😊😊
@@melissayang1764doesn’t matter if the product is good or not. i think she sees others who are still achieving success by these malpractices and thinks it’s okay for her to do the same. its not. and i’m sure she’s a great person but call it out when u see it. this is reminding me a lot of tiktokers…
Such a soothing and nostalgic voice ✨🤍

Love the comeback! The podcast, the skincare videos and the sitdown talk with your sister feels like the Pillow talk you used to do, Nostalgic 💙😭
Happy that you are posting again! I remember the olden days when I wait for your makeup videos.

yes, she's back!
I got the e.l.f. cleansing balm from Influenster and it really has helped me for my double cleaning.
Oh wow it’s been so long. I miss your videos and your soothing voice. Hope all is well. 🥰
Watching you now brings me back to sitting in my best friend’s childhood bedroom learning how to do makeup for the first time🥰 thank you for this xoxo
Michelle, we’ve all been doing these steps for about three years now.
exactly. this is nothing new.

The word you were looking for to describe hyaluronic acid is hydrophilic (attracted to water)

Cleansing oil was a game changer for me. I avoided it for years bc I was afraid it would leave a residue. I was soo wrong. Now I can't live without it
Yesssssss live by pre cleansing
Love these tutorials 😊

Beautiful makeup! Would love to see a makeup tutorial!

Do u also use cleansing oil on the neck? Cause everyday i use sunscreen
I follow you since lady gaga makeup video ❤
The disappointment I had coming from your 17 year old video without any ads, felt so refreshing vs now where this whole video is basically an ad.
Gosh I have been double cleansing oil for a while now
So this is just a 10 min ad?
would love to see you do ASMR
i wouldnt say Michelle Phan back..she only promoting one brand so most likely its a brand deal. but close enough welcome back Michelle
Video duration is 11:11 ✨
Wait? Are you back? 😮😮😮😮❤❤
just for an ad
@ yes sad reality
Oh. An undisclosed ad. Okay.
It does say “included paid promotion” at the top at the start of the vid…
@ it does now. It didn’t when I watched it within an hour of posting. It’s also breaking guidelines by not making it clear in the bio/ title/ etc.

It says ad in the description box…
U made m try new things michelle.. i added to cart and bought it right away..
She's a bit late. Everybody already know about double cleansing. Korean skincare are already in trend for months and years already..
I’ve totally confessed as Dr Sam Bunting says NO to double cleansing esp oil cleansers…should I or shouldn’t I double cleanse???
I think you should try it and see if it fits your skin or not.
Hello beauty 😘
What about for acne prone skin? Which cleaning oil is safe for acne?
😀
❤
Can we pls get a tutorial on the make up look in the beginning? 🥺🤍
Are you gonna do makeup tutorials again? I grew up on them. 🥹
