I really like the retracting and locking tailgate and the hidden storage compartment that can be used as a cooler. Really cool features!

I'm very interested in this Vehicle, cause it definitely seems to fit my outdoor lifestyle..My question is; Can you store the Skis and Snowboard in the trunk and close the Tailgate and lock the cover? That's a huge selling point for me with this Santa Cruz;
After Snowboarding, I want to be able to put my board in the back and lock it up overnight and not take it inside the hotel room or put it inside the vehicle... AMAZING editing and footage by the way.
Unless you wear kids size skis then no. lol
just get a ski box for the roof
We got in August 21and 11k I Sold my Huge 4 door F 150 . I am glad I did see our Country sliding downhill! I hit it just right! Trading went crazy and got premium for my 3 car and got almost what I paid my 2019 Soul turbo and found a Dealer that didn't charge over MSRP . Witch Sucks ! Mine Pulls my 18ft Satellite tip out Camper with ease . I Love Trailers! I have 3 utility trailers for different needs ! I highly recommend!
If your board/skiis are less than 160 it'll fit diagonally. At least a couple boards and a few ski. I have this vehicle and I've fit them in the back
Yeah the only place this thing would be considered rugged would be California. It’s a nice car but a road trip that my corolla could do doesn’t make it in any sorts an adventure vehicle. A Tacoma or a 4runner or a Jeep or a bronco is an adventure vehicle. This is a car with a truck bed. Still a nice vehicle though

Pretty nice if you need a compact pickup truck. The bed on this one is only 4ft long so take that into consideration. If you plan on hauling longer items you should get something else.
I drove the Santa Cruz & Maverick; decided to go with the Ford. Better options, power delivery, & I trust Ford when it comes to trucks. The Hyundai’s interior layout was very odd for me … definitely more car like if that’s what you’re after. Ford 🇺🇸 assembled in Mexico & Hyundai 🇰🇷 assembled in the USA, so it’s a mixed bag there. I found the Maverick to be a much better fit for me & it will outsell the Korean competition by a huge margin.
How was the overall drive though ? Like once you were on the road and forgetting about everything else, which did you prefer? Also if you closed your eyes and forgot about the bed did the Santa cruz feel like you were driving an SUV ? thx.

Is really standing behind their Products. I now have 23 k on my Santa Cruz. And pulled a 4k trailer 1800 miles. My Santa Cruz Love the Mountains of Tennessee 11.5 to 14.6 pulling my 19 foot Rock Wood travel trailer
But you missed out on a great warranty. 3 years 36k Ford ....The Hyundai has 100k And Free Synthetic Oil changes. Hmmm ! Who

What is up with the frame rate? It is all stuttery. At 0:19 it is like 15 fps, but it stutters in other shots too.

We are all shocked that you are a skier rather than a snowboarder! You need to snowboard from a helicopter in deep powder. It’s more surfing than even surfing is. Looooong smooth rides, endless turns.
