I use to only take 2 wrinkle free dresses.... iron free is a must. Sometimes I go straight from plane to a meeting and a quick wrinkle free dress in my room or airport bathroom makes showing up for a meeting after long travel easy. except in winter a trouser, sweater and thick leggings and 1 dress. Hard part is shoes in winter. So decided no heels in winter only loafers, boots or nice sneakers that go with my outfit. Preferably a shoe that can double duty when not working and just casual, but I'm picky on shoes I'll have to adjust as I've not had to wear business shoes in 7 yrs. I double my purses too, I have a carry on and then put everything into smaller bag that's still bigger than just a wallet. My carry one will be my work bag and can easily throw my small purse inside and go to meetings. A big one for me is sunblock and dry shampoo and depends bug dpray for evenings out walking or outdoor eating i cant do in certain regions without bug spray. I have to find none aerosol options, or small container options.
Another great video! Just one thing...it always gives me the heebie jeebies when I see someone put their luggage on their bed. Maybe because I am such a germ-a-fobe, but think about it...your luggage rolls around in the airport, street, bathroom, etc. Then to throw it on where you are going to sleep 🤮 just something to keep in mind.
Every time you show that Karen Millen dress and The Fold items they look like they were made for you!!! You look amazing in them! Thanks for the video, really useful packing tips 😎
the KM dress and all my pieces from The Fold are hands down my go-to power pieces. it's an added bonus that they pack well too! so glad to hear the video was helpful!

Excellent video! Realistic and unassuming - love it. I travel an inordinate amout for work (science) and i feel like we pack the same things, and prioritize quality luggage :)
This is one of the few videos that is really helpful and a work appropriate packing 👍🏻 loved every minute of it but I wonder what about jewelry? I love mine and would not travel without them 😅 I think they can add glam to an outfit
I'm so glad to hear it was helpful! I'm pretty boring when it comes to jewellery and I don't have an extensive collection. I just wear the same pieces over and over again! But I agree, they can definitely take your outfits up a notch
RIP to the Scanlan Theodore outlet store in Melbourne Central (did you ever visit it? It was crepe knit heaven). I hope the brand is going okay, because 90% of my work attire is Scanlan 😅 not at all an old school rec!!
loveee your style. How do you make sure not to pack too much on your tote bag? I do work travel alot, and usually bring my laptop in my tote, but it tend to be very heavy...
that's a good question. i think it's hard to pack lightly when it comes to a tote bag for travel. like you, the laptop takes up a bit of room but then i've also got my laptop charger and those extra little bits that i wouldn't ordinarily take if i was just commuting to the office in my home town. those essentials send to add up weight wise but i think i'm just used to it! 😅

Great tips Vee! I’m so bad at packing carry on only for business!! 🤪
Thanks Vicki, it takes a bit of a planning, that’s for sure!
Smart packing, Vee!
thanks J! xx
I’m a little late but thank you for this video!
You're so welcome!

Hope your trip up here to Brizzie went well!
Thanks! I loved it! I need to come up to visit more often
Perfect
What heels do you suggest for being on your feet all day but also going well with the forever dress?
i think a low block heel or a kitten heel would work perfectly with the forever dress - i've even worn it with a pair of pointed toe flats!
Is it just me, or does it hurt when someone puts their shoes next to,or in this case, on their clothes!?!?!?!
sorry to have inflicted that pain on you 😅
You have great style, while adulting too
thank you so much!
7 days for work doesn’t work for carryon
I see an Animal Crossing Switch 😍
good spotting!
