It's so wonderful to listen to your voice. I'm a Lancashire lass and I feel really comfortable with our accent being the same being so close. I'm gonna share your video with my friends all over the world so they know how I talk... just like you. I'm a gardener like you Woody, much reduced now to age and ill health. But I get my joy in life from watching you doing things I can no longer do... thanks.
Morning Kath Oh thanks so much for your kind words my friend! I'm a Lancastrian by birth ( here was known as' Lancashire north of the sands') whereabouts in Lancashire are you? I'd love for you to share my video with your friends!! And it gives me happiness to know you get joy from watching them. Have a great week ahead and stay safe ❤️
Lovely size pears mate. Nice tp see the grafts have taken so well. I hope you rest up and don't strain yourself and take care of the hernia. Take care Woody Cheers Harold
Thanks mate, I was delighted with those pears! It could be a while before I get the surgery so I am trying to take things a bit easier when possible . Hope you are keeping well my friend. Cheers 🍻🍻👍
Hi woody that's a mighty fine harvest of pears mate, Then we see world best fruit tree grafter you are really good woody and has been a pleasure to watch you over the years.
I'm really pleased with that pear harvest! And also with the grafts I did on Ken's pear tree ( I will hopefully do a follow up video again when it bears fruit). Have a great weekend both 👍
Oh yikes Woody the weather has certainly taken a turn for the worse. But absolutely fantastic harvest of pears and they will store great. Pears are one of those things that cost a bomb here 🤷♀️. Great job on the grafts 👍👍. Have a super week stay safe, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦
Hi Ali Yes we've certainly had some crazy weather recently 😮. More than happy with the pears ( I wonder why they're so expensive in your country 🤔) I hope to follow up on the grafted pear when it is bearing fruit. Have a great weekend Ali ❤️
I saw all the pears and was thinking you were going to make pear cider. Well I hope everything goes good with the surgery. As usual you give grafting and trimming lessons. 👍Stay well my friend.
Some years I do add pears to the cider Bob and very nice it is too ! Could be a while before I get fixed up but hopefully it will be ok ( I had one twenty years ago and never had a problem since) Take care buddy 🍻
Absolutely love pears. Was summer pruning in a heritage pear orchard a little while ago - loved it! Yours look great! Unfortunately scab has overtaken most of ours this year but going to be a great year for quince so that will have to do!
I'm over the moon with that pear crop and even daring to think that my theory might be true ( about Concord being resistant to pear midge).. Great to hear about the quince! ATB my friend ❤️
