I followed the steps exactly.. all successful till step #5
when try to install webUI .. I get error #10 .. find port failed!!
although the device still on and USB connection is good .
I tried the entire process twice .. and stopped at the same point ..
I did it.. kept poking around with the tools till it worked..
I noticed that the MIFI freezes after the upgrade step#4.. so I changed the order of setup .. tried to install the webUI after the downgrade.. but didn't wok either .. so flashed the upgrade again .. but this time it didnot freeze not sure why .. then I installed the WebUi again and It went well..

Bro, i don't no why but this trick is particularly not working on my device. Balong detects my device but when i tried to load that bin file balong tool shows some kind of error(language unknown) and also my huawei driver shows some kind of error on device manager and also driver shows most updated driver already installed. Airtel galary guy is telling it can be used & only postpaid is supported, whereas sellers on Amazon/FK are telling it supports airtel prepaid sim, i hope it supports airetl prepaid atleast without unlock.

no you should not unplug the usb in the entire process as data will be transmitted from your pc to the device

And, when I enter step 3, the software is not recognising my device, that's the problem.

I'm stuck at installing the WebUI. With the other executables, I can see an entry on Device Manager of a new COM port. But running the WebUI, it does not "create" an entry in the COM ports. It's stuck at finding port. please help.

Hi Zotech... Thanks for this video. I'm having a challenge though. Everything worked fine for me up until 2:27 in the video. The moment I boot short the modem, my laptop discovers the connection but when I click on detect in Balong, it detects my modem but only COM6 shows in the console. I try to go on to Select and Load the file but it completes within a second and it ends there...no lights flash on the modem. Please any help with this? Thanks

You can't do that after Unlocking... So its your choice to do it..
zotech43 noticed a strange thing when i use it with airtel sim in highlik app device status shows unlocked.
but when i put any other operator sim its shows permanently locked in highlink app.

Unlocked my airtel hotspot and using idea ui and using idea sim now. But how to use any sim like jio or bsnl ?
For Jio Users & Others, who are having problem on connection buy unlock successfully follow these steps:
#1 Have you enter the IMEI & Serial Number Correctly even one mistake of character will cause your SIM not to work (Jio wil not work) so check each every individual character you entered
#2 You have to manually set an acesspoint . Goto Setting > Dial Up > Profile Management > New Profile
Fill only the NAME and APN
You can use any name.......
These are the APN for different SIMs
Jio = jionet
Airtel = airtelgprs.com
BSNL = bsnlnet
Vodafone = www
#3 Maybe the device get bricked on the process.
Bit its not detecting jio sim
Goto > Settings > System > Device Information and see if your IMEI & Serial is the same with your original hotspot... You jio will not get detected if you didnt reset this...
