Hi, I have a challenge here. I have a Huawei HG8546M router that I need to use as an AP. My ISP supplies internet via ethernet but the router does not have a WAN port. Is it possible to convert one of the LAN ports to act as a WAN port? If yes, how do I go about it?

@@gurutechnetworks Only Huawei partners can download firmware from Huawei’s official site. Since I am not a Huawei partner, I don't have access to download it...
Hello bro, I have the same exact router, it's connected to a switch so it can provide WiFi, unfortunately, the LAN ports provide Internet without any configurations but the WiFi has no Internet, how can that be fixed to provide Internet via WiFi as well? Thanks
@@gurutechnetworks I meant I did not configure the router, I just plugged in an ethernet cable from the switch and plugged in another from the Huawei router to my computer and it worked, now the problem is, I need WiFi but it has no Internet, on the home page it says "the network status is abnormal with a red X symbol". So, how can I get Internet on it's WiFi instead of only using it as a switch?

You can use any port in that case

If you didn't make any changes but only reset then just give it some time, it will pick up. You should reboot it again
