today we're going inside the fitting room at ABERCROMBIE! Noooo, girl I loved the “low rise” (more mid rise) jeans on you with the tank top 😭😭 how could you leave those jeans behinddddd they looked GOOODDDDD if you are worried about them stretching out during the day just wear a longer top, a full length top ♥️
She was right not to buy them. Who wants a pair of jeans at that price that you are not going to be 100% comfortable?

The low rise jeans with the top proportionally looked really great. I think low rise suits your body type pretty well based on the length of your legs vs the torso.
I feel like the younger generations don't understand just how low our low rise was. As a 5'11 girlie with a big booty, our low rise was a personal nightmare, but the amount of ass cracks I saw on the reg at school was kind of insane. A teacher's whale tail being visible is still seared into my brain.
Those low (midrise tho lets be honest) rise jeans looked incredible on you!

Omg I used to own a Barbie outfit that was basically that black denim dress, and I always wanted a real life version so bad.
So happy you gave the jeans a chance. They looked AMAZING on you and the top, too. Is it possible you could go down a size since they’re a loose fit? You def had room in the waist and wearing them for an hour would probably make them perfect.

I just came home from TJ Maxx and the way I found soooo many plus-sized clothing from Abercrombie that were on CLEARANCE! $12-$16 for jean shorts and jeans

i went to one in oregon on wednesday,very disappointing. the sizing is the same at the regular but the clothing was very odd,like they were mistakes.
Omg I love the lulu outlet. You never know what you’re going to find
The outlet in Pigeon Forge Tennessee seems to have a pretty big selection of larger sizes. However, it is a lot of odd colors/patterns or styles that didn’t sell well, but there are typically some hidden gems. If you’re expecting to find something in plain black, you probably wont find much.

No I can't!, they remind me of my old school shoes, especially with the ankle socks. Each to their own but there is definitely more attractive footwear out there even if it is still comfortable and practical.
They do not go with everything. Carrie liked them with the red dress and athletic dress, I thought it looked really bad. I don't get it either

Your right that denim dress was made for you! It’s hard to find a denim dress that doesn’t pull and sits right. Also I think it would be cute layered with a long sleeve underneath for fall/winter. My other fav on you was the low rise jeans and white top. But your right it probably would ride down during the day.

I know you hate low rise jeans, but as a short torso girlie, I'm so glad low rise jeans are coming back into fashion. I cannot wear high rise jeans, cause they just don't sit right on me, where as low rise hits me at my natural waist! Bring on all the low rise jeans for us short torso girls!!

I'm 27 and I relate to everything you said about Abercrombie being big in middle school and how it felt being a chubster back then 🙈🙈 so confused as to what age bracket I fit in but yeah I get it aero was another popular one back then I could never afford anything or fit in anything so 🫠🫠 I mean there was a time when I fit in a size 3 jeans so maybe my memorie's a little fuzzy but you know I'm 4"8 so obviously I wasn't built like the tall slim girls in my school

Honestly, as a fellow mid 30s girly, I remember the distain I had for Abercrombie as a teen (I was more of a Hot Topic kid). But as an adult I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the quality and size options!

Hi they lovely dropped waist red dress, was too big on the top but, if you look on H&M they have basically the same dress in both red and black in a stretch material. I just got it in the black as I know I’ll get more wear than the red version personally. It looks great on so please take a look for it. Well it’s here in UK 🇬🇧 in the H&M edit range so should be available state side too. Big hugs Kx

I saw someone compare old low rise to new low rise and there is literally a 4-5 inch difference in rise. New low rise is not the early 2000s low rise lol

In 1986, I got 2 boat neck dropped waist tunic-length tops. The bottom of it had the seam 6-8 inches from the bottom (so that the bottom was double thickness). Because it was a drop waist, it helped camouflage my belly. I was also barely 5 feet tall at the time, so I could technically wear it as a minidress. I did just that for Halloween ... at school ... black fishnet tights, a pair of short gym shorts, and black booties. I also wore make-up that day. A few people (his friends) asked my older brother how he could let me come to school like that. They didn't know I was wearing shorts under it, but I ALWAYS wore shorts under dresses my whole life. He told them to shup up because "it's the best she's looked all year." He didn't realize that if anyone asked me what I was, I said I was OBVIOUSLY a hooker, lol.

As someone with a larger-than-large bust, I can appreciate the tailoring of some of these garments. Like after seeing this, I might ACTUALLY consider checking out the closest Abercrombie to me......and last time I saw one was 2009 when I was 14, so that's saying a lot.

i kinda feel like abercrombie is trying to achieve "reformation dupe" status with their styles lately, especially with the prices. like $80-120 for a dress is pricey but seems less bad compared to reformation lol
