This worked great for me, replaced the touch sensor ribbon with aluminium tape, cut to size. Thank you for this video it has saved me from having to buy a new washing machine 👍
Thank you so much for the instructional video! It was very clear and explained the problem well. My LG washer had the same issues; first one button and then more and more stopped working over time. When I took the front panel off, I saw that the copper mesh was green in the faulty sponges! The carbon coating was also damaged and there was other evidence of moisture around the PCB. I wrapped the corroded sponges in aluminium tape and put some tape on the glass panel. Success! The repairmen I had called said they couldn't fix it because the model was discontinued and they couldn't replace the whole panel. Saved many hundreds of ££ and replacing a perfectly fine machine because of a tiny bit of corroded copper mesh.

So the local repair guy was unabale to repair it. LG service center asked for replacement of complete panel for 125 USD (if I remember correctly). I saw this video, but did not have aluminium tape. So I used foil paper from kitchen and glue stick from stationary. It works fine now 😊

Great sir, you saved your money otherwise these technicians keep robbing people, 4500 rupees for 1 hour's work is the limit man. Had taken away ₹2000 from us too. It didn't even cost ₹ 10 and is taking thousands from people.

IFB looted Rs 10k with panel change for the same problem, after 3months got the same problem .I don't know they have such incapable Engineers, or so capably timed to fail to loot people. Don't buy encourage this kind of companies . Now again they want replace , found your video will try

I don't understand why electrician and washing machine engineer ask for so much money for this work around 2000 while the actual cost of this work is 100 to 200 it means this technician is cheating people thank you very much sir To make us aware and to save us from these electrician people.
Technical work costs high! That's the reason for high charges. Even though the actual repair is simple, this still involves all the risks associated with electricity, along with the risk of causing further damage to the customers device while dismantling and rebuilding the device. It sometimes takes a lot of time as well. We saw this 8 min video and we are super impressed but the reality is far from this. This job will take at least an hour.

Thank you, I fixed it by replacing the not used button's copper sponge to start the button, we can pull the sponge and with its gum it will stick to the new button

Washing rinsing ho rahi hai lekin spinning nahi ho rahi. Kapde hath se nichodne pad rahe hain. Process, water level,reserve aur Program buttons kaam nahi kar rahe hain.plese bataiye kya isme bhi touch button theek karne hain jaise aapne karke dikhaya ya kuch aur bhi repair kerna hoga. Hi, this solved the issue. But after adding spring, now the button gets automatically pressed during wash cycle and the wash cycle stops. Again, the button gets automatically pressed and it resumes. It keeps on pausing/resuming on it's own very frequently.
may be spring is too long

Secondly my machine was coming on and off repeatedly so I have opened it but found out that the brush isn't that bad, I don't have a multiplier but my brush looks okay just in need of a little push down so it doesn't automatically touch the panel.
I have done that. I am about to fix it and see how it goes but mine is more difficult since I don't have those tools.
Lastly, how did he test the panel at 7:53 without coupling it back, was that an ac or dc supply or the one we disconnected from the machine. Thank you.

Sir, having PCB problem in my Front loads LG washer. Machine sometimes work, some times not! Paani chala gaya hai inside PCB in rainy season. Some times touch panel works perfectly, other times dont respond. Also starting tone sounds different sometimes. LG mechanic came and saying need to change the FULL PCB at Rs.9000--------What should i do? Should i go for outside shops for PCB repair? Kya ye LG waale dont do the PCB repair work? He is just saying he will come and blow dry the PCB and will see how if it works. Only wants to look the money, once the warranty is over.
Companies don't repair pcb they replace. Try a hair dryer hot air. And apply WD40 in pcb. WD40 remove moisture
@@SomaElectricals Thanks Sir. LG technician tried blow-drying, but the problem persisting. Sometimes when starting, machines starting tone sounds different, and none of the touch panel buttons work, Only rotating knob working fine. The washing cycle is perfectly fine.

hi, at 7:53 it is a AC supply we connected from external source not from the washer wiring

Sir samsung washing machine me plusetor direct rotate hota hai jab washing machine ko strat karte hai aur drum rotate nahi hota hai spin me ( dry) to kya problem hoga aur koi error show nahi kar raha hai puase & play bottom sound karta hai par puase nahi hota hai.
