If you're on starva on you're desktop if you click on someones ride (like the link in the descriptoin) on the left hand side there is a box with 3 dots, if you click that and create route, you can then save the route and download the GPX from your routes without being a premium member
Looks like a brilliant go to ride, we ride ebikes but have earned them from many years of steam power. Respect getting up the technical bits. Definitely going to do this ride thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks for the suggestion - planning to do this ride on Saturday starting at Giggleswick 👍 followed a few of your lake district routes so excited to try this one too, will make for a pleasant change of scenery given I've never riddent in the Yorkshire Dales before
I’m 3 months in on the mary/hans combo. Love them. Such a strong sidewall. I have a plus bike with 2.8 tyres. So pressures are low. Not one problem since fitted
Thanks for the route info. I did this ride Thursday & its a cracking trail, exactly the type of riding I love. Im only an hour away in the Lakes so will be repeating it again soon (Ive family in Harrogate so good excuse to do the ride when I visit) . You were right about the good conditions, it pissed down most of the day & it was all pretty much ridable. However, I did NOT enjoy the long drag up High Cote Moor at the end though : D
Yes that climb is a brutal one. If you do it again head into kilnsey and go up mastiles lane. It’s stone track. Still a big climb but better than grass. You can see this climb on my latest video
@@TrailFinder I have seen that video & didnt realise it would link up but it obviously does as I ended up at the end of Mastiles Lane, cheers for the info

Would be good with that casing. But not for cross country trail riding. Had the shwalbes for 3 months now and they are amazing. No problems or punchers at all so far. But thanks for the tip matty and feedback
I did. Done a few of your rides which I remembered from 15 years ago when I rode more regularly . I really enjoy your videos. Doing scarhouse Friday morning with my nephew.
Had a stab at this today Andy www.strava.com/activities/4048478236 great ride out , just a shame the last 10 miles was nowt short of purgatory ,, Arncliffe back to Settle , 25mph headwind urrgghh.. and those cows had me more than worried , talk about stinkeye .. cheers for the vids keep em coming ;)
Just the one. he uses eco for 100% of the rides he does. He easily got back on one battery. The down bits are long. The road section is long where you will be over the motor limit. So you could switch it off on those bits. Go for it and don’t worry about it
You can’t run carbon rims and exo’s on stuff like that. You’l get punctures all the time. Carbon rims won’t dent or fold so they cut through the tyre instead. I run double down on the front and dh casings on the rear for lakes riding. Dent the hell out of the rim but never puncture. Obviously there’s a weight penalty.
Finding myself schwalbe edges maxxis I know maxxis r popular had both . No problems with schwalbe hansdampf rear Magic Mary on front and they always size up well unlike maxxis.
Mtb Slayer maxxis tyres are like tissue paper compared to shwalbe. Had no problems at all so far and I’ve had them on for 3 months now. Punctured every single ride on the maxxis. I’ve hit the rim a few times with the shwalbes. They are that strong had no snake bite 👊

Fantastic tip Sam. I didn’t know that. Thanks. I will pin this message so others can see it
@@TrailFinder No worries, thanks for the good videos! Im fairly local to you and they always inspire me to get on the MTB and do some of the routes
@@samcahill389 thanks for this tip, I'm likely to give this trail a go now I've imported it into Komoot.
@@TrailFinder Is there any way you can log your rides on Kamoot too please?
hello i did this ride today very good ride the last bit is long slog, cheers
This is currently one of my favourite RUclips channels. Looking at a few trails to do and these vids are excellent for my planning 👌👍🤙⚡
dale m thanks dale. And don’t forget you can click any of the links in the discription to get the ride data and gpx files. Save you doing any planning
Thanks for taking the time to share these routes. I downloads this one and did it today. Great ride, I was knackered on the last climb.
Your welcome Harry. It’s a tough one is the last climb.

My fav in the dales. 3 cracking descents.
Looks a great ride Andy, another to add to the ‘to do’ list. Thanks for posting 👍
One of my favs this and an all weather ride
I run a magic Mary on front and Hans dampf rear. Both soft super gravity. Great combo, never had any trouble in the 8 months they been on.

Nice ride. I love that descent into Littondale, which has got to be one of the nicest Dales in the national park.
Lakedistrictrider totally agree 😁
Great video thanks, I'm travelling 124 miles to do this trail in 2 weeks, thanks for the garmin GPX files.
Paul oldham your welcome Paul. Hope you enjoy it. And fingers crossed for good weather
Great video. Cheers for uploading your gpx files to trail forks. I did your Three shire loop the other day and its was quite a ride. Really enjoyed it
Your welcome Matt 😁

Never thought about tire inserts? I've just gone over to them. Should stop all the pinch flats when riding on low PSI. fingers crossed.
Its been ages since I have been out on my bike, I must head out onto the trails soon. Iv not done this ride might hit it on my next day off :)
White Rose Adventures get your self out bud and get the bike bug back 👍
I'm currently using a Michelin e wild tyre on my levo. Absolute beast of a tyre👍
dale m I’m 3 months into my new Hans dampt. Great tyre no problems at all. Very strong side wall
Tyre recommendation. .. do not get shwalbe get a maxxis .... dh casing super tacky- they are👌
Would be good with that casing. But not for cross country trail riding. Had the shwalbes for 3 months now and they are amazing. No problems or punchers at all so far. But thanks for the tip matty and feedback
Nice trail, great down hills, minimal climbing relative to dh, keep it up
Thanks Paul. It’s a beauty is this ride. There is a good mixture of everything on it
Rode this early this morning. Brutal ride in this heat.
Far to hot to ride in this heat. Hats off to you. hope you enjoyed it

Nothing worse than riding in wind
Hi Andy, as usual great ride. Really want to try it but battery anxiety makes me ask, did your mate John manage on one battery or did he take a spare?

Where is your go pro mounted
For this vid it’s on my full face helmets chin guard
Hi just wondering which cycle computer do you using cheers top vid 👍🏻
Thanks Jeff. I use a Garmin 820 edge.
I. Walk there never knew there was a bike ride I have have to go there
Ollie Bops Yorkshire dales is great for biking. Lots of bridal ways to legally ride on
ow do new subscriber loving it so far i notice you ride a full sus would you say the rides are doable on a hard tail?
mr giddings yes all the rides I do can be easily done on a hard tail

Yeah your right. Got punchers every single ride. Beginning of 2019 I switched to schwalbe and I’m yet to even get a puncher.
Finding myself schwalbe edges maxxis I know maxxis r popular had both . No problems with schwalbe hansdampf rear Magic Mary on front and they always size up well unlike maxxis.

Thanks mate. Glad your enjoying watching
@@DizRidesMtb tbh depends on the riding, trail, enduro dh I'd say maxxis dh casing but for the xc I'd say anything like Contis or shwalbe
Dizzy bikeride maxxis r good tire's and I wouldn't swap them off your new ride but just find schwalbe to be that bit better .
I wnt ride this! Is this route is good for beginer?
Yes. All dales rides are suitable. This ride in particular though requires a good level of fitness
Try a vittoria air liner in your back wheel to stop you from punctures
No good for a 650b gravel bike then?!! 😵💫😵💫😵💫
