Update: Tiny Eye 1.3 is out now, check out the latest demo video here ruclips.net/video/qvRK8l2oS5Q/видео.html Some questions you might ask: Q1 • How do you bake/export textures? Update • Tiny Eye 1.3 will come with baking capabilities. A1 • At the moment, you would have to dive into the Node groups and bake textures the old school way. Honestly, I made this eye to work only in Blender because it’s where I do all my works. But I promise once I find a solution and have the time, I’ll drop an update including a demo vid. Q2 • Why can't I see the eye after dropping it into the scene? A2 • Since Tiny Eye was modelled according to scale (25mm in Diameter), it's really small. After dragging it into the scene 1. Make sure the Eyeball is selected 2. press Alt + G to reset it's location 3. Then press Numpad "." or F3 and search for "Frame Selected" Q3 • Why can't I see the Iris / Why does the cornea appear black? A3a • Tiny Eye 1.2 and before: under “Render Properties”, scroll down to “Light Paths” and increase “Transparent Light Paths”. Also, Update Blender (at least version 3.2) A3b • Tiny Eye 1.2.1 onwards: in EEVEE, under “Render Properties”, turn on Screen Space Reflections and Refraction. In Cycles, under “Render Properties > Light Paths > Max Bounces, ensure that "Total" is at least set to 2, and "Transmission" is at least set to 1. You may have to increase them if your scene includes multiple glass shaders or has glass objects placed between the eyes and your camera/viewport. Q4 • Why is it so laggy? A4 • 3:23
I think this is a true treasure (for beginners like me) and you are one of the best RUclips blender tutors. I hope you can sell paid lectures someday. Thank you for every good video.
My friend, you are an absolute legend! Stuff like this is why I love the Blender Community and you are a shining example of what makes this community great.
This is incredible, what a legend for making this free as-well! Another creator that’s truly inspiring me, and I’m sure many others to start learning blender
This is obviously amazing! I was hoping for customizable pupil shapes, but never imagined you’d incorporate it. The only thing is how from the side view, the iris/pupil area is transparent, like a cat’s eye. Works great in those instances, but would be good to have it look more like how a human eye looks. I know tho that that how it is now is the basis of how it operates. So it is more just an observation. I still love it. Thank you!
This update is wild. You are doing incredible work and I'm glad to see that everyone seems to really appreciate your generosity. Thank you so much for this!
I love this, the simplicity is genius! Suggestions: Being able to control the shadow's color for the Iris edge (right now seems limited to black outline), and ability to blur/soften the iris/pupil edges so they aren't so crispy/sharp would put this over the edge and make it nearly perfect for many projects!
As a total beginner, I really appreciate you taking time out of your life to share your work with the Blender community! I am on a strict budget being disabled and can not afford $200+ on an eye asset. I have been searching the usual sites looking for a free eye asset that looks realistic for weeks, then I came across Tiny Eye 2.1 being showcased on a video by askNK. I am really impressed and thankful that you made Tiny Eye 2.1 and are offering it for free. One day I plan on paying for this great asset.
im not even an animator nor do i have interest in 3D animating but i think this is really cool like imagine all the cool eye designs people can make for their animations
No way this man really used Lith Harbor in his Blender tutorial. I've never used Blender but this showed up in my recommended, so I watched it and INSTANTLY recognized that music.
I love the maplestory Background music! almost as much as i love and appreciate this asset library for even exisiting. You're doing newbies like me a huge service!
This is absolutely amazing. I was using your Tiny Eye yesterday and needed the pupil a bit crooked. And now you are on my yt feed with exactly what I need. THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for creating such amazing addon, it is not only allowing new-comers to explore the possibilities of Blender, but sparking creativity speaks for it all! Appreciate your efforts! Keep going with the amazing content!
Just bought this. Been playing with it. It's superb. And, just as importantly, it is great fun as well. Well done. When I think of all the hours, literally hours, I've spent producing inferior eyes . . .
Something I would love to learn, is how to animate a chibi type character to walk, run, dodge, roll, (combo)swing weapons and such. And yes, I've no clue where to start, but I also just need the base concepts and I can figure out the rest. But yeah, if you wanna make my day one day, make this! 😍
Thank you so much for your beautiful eye, I'm using it on my characters! I went to test it and saw that the iris had a shadow on the Eevee, to correct it just go to the sclera Settings and change the Shadow Mode to None.
How have your subscribers not reached at least a million yet? I don't understand. Good pun in the title though and I noticed nobody commented on that I'm crying TAT Thank you so much for the links and the free eyes. You just might make me start working on my amateur azz on my 3D character designs seriously. I appreciate it. One day if I make one and ready to show it I'll probably put it out there and dedicate the eyes to you (lol)!
Thanks for the great add-on. For the people using simple bake add-on (paid): Create a new uv map of the eye name this map SimpleBake. When you bake the object make sure to select Copy object and apply bakes. Under: Render Properties > Simple Bake > Other Settings > Copy Object and Apply Bakes. Then export the copied object. This worked for me instead of creating a new material with the image texture node connected to the output in the original eye object. Hope this helps.
Это невероятно... За такие вещи нужно памятник при жизни ставить и включить автора во всевозможные холлы славы))) Спасибо за безумную работу ^_^ Надеюсь за эту работу тебя наградят DreamWorks или Disney))))
Awesome Addon! But I'm having big problems with baking the eyes. Do you have a tutorial or a description somewhere how to do that correctly? Thank you!
I really love this. I'm so thankful. But I've been trying to bake the textures and I haven't been doing it properly for weeks now. I would really appreciate it if you could make a bake tutorial video.
You're amazing man! I've been needing to adjust the method in my Unreal projects for eyes and this will help a bunch and give me some needed perspective!

a question: would you do a series in the future?
because it would be epic if you made one 👍
@@Alfonzitoxd oo what series do you have in mind?

I was thinking the SAME THING. I only recognized it by its leitmotif alone since I haven't played in FOREVER
@@SiahContent I used to play a lot as a kid, so the music immediately hit me like a brick
