- Eid Mubarak to the leadership and people of the UAE. May this be a prosperous, special occasion for all across the Muslim and Arab world, filled with peace and celebration. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, this morning performed the Eid al-Fitr prayer at Zabeel Mosque.
Performing the prayer alongside His Highness Sheikh Mohammed were H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation, a number of Sheikhs, officials and a group of worshipers.
In the Eid al-Fitr sermon, Imam Omar al-Khateeb stressed that peace is the foundation of Islam, noting that Islam is the religion of tolerance, moderation, justice, mercy and good manners.
The imam prayed to Allah Almighty to bless President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The sermon concluded with a prayer on the souls of the late Sheikhs Zayed, Rashid, and Maktoum; calling on Allah Almighty to protect the nation and its people, and grant success for the country's leadership in their duty in serving the nation.

دبي في 4 يونيو / وام / أدى صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله" صلاة عيد الفطر السعيد وإلى جانبه سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي وزير المالية وسمو الشيخ مكتوم بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب حاكم دبي.
كما أدى الصلاة التي أقيمت في مسجد زعبيل في دبي صباح اليوم سمو الشيخ أحمد بن سعيد آل مكتوم رئيس هيئة دبي للطيران الرئيس الأعلى لمجموعة طيران الإمارات وسمو الشيخ أحمد بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم رئيس مؤسسة محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم للمعرفة وسمو الشيخ منصور بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم وعدد من الشيوخ والمسؤولين وجمع من المصلين .
وقد استمع صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم والمصلون إلى خطبة العيد التي ركز فيها إمام وخطيب الصلاة فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور عمر الخطيب على قيم التسامح والتراحم والتزاور والتآلف بين الناس.
وأشار الخطيب إلى أن التسامح هو من قيم الإسلام الحنيف ويعني اللين في التعامل واحترام الآخرين بصرف النظر عن ديانتهم وجنسيتهم والعفو عن أخطائهم، والتسامح يقرب بين الناس على مختلف أهوائهم ومشاربهم إذ قال تعالى " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنَّا خَلَقْنَاكُم مِّن ذَكَرٍ وَأُنثَى وَجَعَلْنَاكُمْ شُعُوبًا وَقَبَائِلَ لِتَعَارَفُوا إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِندَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَلِيمٌ خَبيرٌ" صدق الله العظيم .
وقال الخطيب " وبما أن التسامح هو أساس التعامل الإنساني بين البشر وهو من أنبل القيم الانسانية التي تتميز بها قيادتنا الحكيمة وشعبنا فقد أنشئت وزارة للتسامح في حكومتنا لتعمل على ترسيخ ونشر هذه القيمة الفضلى في أوساط شعبنا ومجتمعنا كي تتوارثها الأجيال جيلا بعد جيل وتظل رمزا لأصالة عاداتنا العربية والاسلامية وعراقتها" .
ودعا فضيلة الدكتور الخطيب في ختام خطبته الله العلي القدير أن يحفظ قيادتنا وشعبنا ودولتنا ويديم علينا نعمة السعادة والاستقرار والتآلف والتراحم والتقدم والرخاء والسلام وأن يجعل عيدنا عيد تراحم ومحبة وسعادة مبتهلا إلى المولى عز وجل أن يديم على صاحب السمو الشيخ خليفة بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة "حفظه الله" موفور الصحة والسعادة وأن يجعله في حفظه ورعايته الربانية وأن يوفقه وصاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم نائب رئيس الدولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء حاكم دبي "رعاه الله" لما فيه رضا الله وخدمة الوطن والمواطن وأن يديم على سموهما وإخوانهما أصحاب السمو الشيوخ حكام الإمارات نعمة الصحة والعطاء والحكمة والتسامح .
كما توجه إمام وخطيب الصلاة بالدعاء إلى الباري جل وعلا أن يرحم الشيخ زايد والشيخ راشد والشيخ مكتوم وان يتغمدهم بواسع رحمته ورضوانه "انه قريب سميع مجيب الدعاء".

Really their actions during preyer are disgusting, long time ago also I watched video where they preyed same way and I thought maybe I miss understand, but again same action in salah. It's feels like they came by force, and their ego is higher than their imaan (faith). It gives me picture of Firaun...😏 Very sad, and shame...

There are 4 madh'hab in Islam, shafi hanafi, Maliki, hambal r.a... all 4 followers are 100% right..
I'm shafi follower we tie our hands between chest and navel but in hanafi they tie on their navel. But in malliki they don't tie at all.
I wonder to see the strange way of making pray (salat). Why they looking at cameraman's in the front of them & imam? And second question is: is it allowed by shariah to staying for someone in the front of Imam? It is so disgusting & awful action of mass-media service of Royal families of UAE. It is so disrespectful of Islamic Laws. I disappointed of the behavior of Royal family's action during the worship. Shame for Maktum s family

Thus, documentation is part and parcel of official event.
Why cite Shariah?? Tell us what do you know about Prophet Muhammad's activities? Didn't He set the standards of what we call good governance 'RECORDING" all events putting on paper TV was invented in 18th century- - what is best way to immortalize that auspicious moment to keep them for posterity?
