Walaikum Salam Although I am not a scholar but- I know that the Prophets PBUH wives are "Mothers of the Believers" and it is prohibited to marry our mothers - even after the death of the Prophet PBUH it was strictly prohibited for anyone to marry his wives. If he had divorced some of his wives to make the number of wives to 4 - the wives he divorced would have no prospect of remarriage and this would have been unjust as they have no maintenance/companionship - Allah knows best
The type of disrespect that I observed when ladies go to visit the grave of Prophet صل اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم Is outrageous, and it is very much due to unfair management unfortunately.

Was it okay for Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him) to have more than 4 wives at the same time? If so,was it directed to him in the Quran? InshAllah you can answer this and clear this for me. 💯.. any one after the death of RASULLULAH (SAWA), that was to lead the ummah.. should be infallible, and not make a Single mistake.. there was of course no democratic election to support the first 3 caliph, neither did ALLAH appointed any of them as the rightful successor to RASULLULAH (SAWA) .. so how did Abu bakr, umar, Othman come to be ‘legitimate’ successors/ caliphs..??? The answer to this very important question is in the Sunni Hadith, very clearly and easy to understand.. yet I’ve not heard a single Sunni scholar did mention this issue, they don’t even try.. also the battle of the camel / jamal, no scholar wants to answer this … Aysha led an army to fight the caliph of her time, IMAM ALI(AS).. in which about 30 000 people died… the Sunni scholars always try and hide these issues.. So when Abu bakr was close to death, yet he had the mental capacity to leave a successor… but RASULLULAH (SAWA) did not have the mental capacity to leave a divinely chosen successor… ????? The answers to all of my above questions… all the answers are freely available in Sunni Hadith… I will warn ya’ll it’s shocking and horrifying… no Sunni scholar wants to address these.. and there are countless more Hadith that are either contradictory or inconsistent… all of ya’ll please read Sunni Hadith. Most scholars.. are scholars of dollars.. they ain’t gonna tell y’all the truth.. rather read for yourselves.. As this scholar said that Abu bakr and umar made a mistake.. but then the asked for forgiveness… but they made more that one mistake.. in fact they made countless mistakes… how can we take such people as our role models.. y’all need to ask him to answer these questions..
