In this video, I share my personal story of how I navigated financial challenges when I first arrived in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, with my wife and later my children, after moving from London, UK, in 2012. The beginning was tough, but through the help and mercy of Allah, we managed to overcome the hardships and settle into life in this blessed city.
I discuss the critical importance of seeking education and acquiring a skill or trade that can be leveraged while studying, especially with the rise of remote job opportunities. This is crucial not only for men but also for women, as gaining an education plays a vital role in financial independence and stability.
I also delve into the realities of the financial situation for students of knowledge in Saudi Arabia, particularly those who are not working full-time, and how the cost of living in Madinah compares to other cities. Madinah, being a city of immense spiritual and historical significance, comes with its own set of unique challenges, especially when it comes to securing opportunities.
Additionally, I touch on the harsh realities that students of knowledge face in terms of financial difficulties. To address this, I will be launching a fundraising campaign to support students in need of financial assistance or those burdened by debt. This new initiative will be dedicated to helping students who are struggling, and more information will be released soon for those interested in supporting this important cause.
