If I take my daughter and one of her friends to the park I panic if I loose sight of them for 5 seconds. Those people were totally irresponsible and should be held accountable.
What happens to the minds of parents when they are in the woods? Why and how do they think that they don’t need to keep a close eye on and stay close to their tiny children?
It is just so easy to get turned around in the woods if you are an adult, let alone a little boy.
If they in fact were in a line one parent in the front of the line and the other parent at the end of the line.!!!!!

Ive heard MrBallen tell the story about the ship before so i knew what was coming... but let me assure you it WASN'T any less harrowing and fear inducing the second time.
That group did the wrong thing taking him out there and are responsible for him being missing.
Can't believe all 11 adults in that group, a) thought it'd be OK to change their plans to a far more treacherous location for children and WITHOUT permission from the dad, b) thought climbing up very rugged terrain, definitely not for beginners, was somehow a "fun" bonding moment for all, and c) no one thought that with a 3 YO, they should all be looking out for him, if not someone holding his hand.
I'd like to know what was the problem with that group and if they were ever held accountable for their actions? Don't know the ages of that group, but seems like everyone in that group was only interested in themselves.

@@dryb3301 he was with a group from a church that his father knew. He had permission off the dad to go to one place but the group took Jared to another place instead, without the fathers consent

There is a video on RUclips of the rescue from the Divers helmet cam. I'm a commercial diver and find this type of story intriguing.

Yeah and additionally he didn’t have his shoes tied so kinda makes sense they just fell off and were in better condition. I think weird unexplainable things DO happen and a lot of the stories are so suspicious but this one is the least suspicious of them all. The fact that the father left a group to watch his toddler in a rugged trail is already a red flag. They may be Christian people but not family.
It's obviously animals that were responsible for all but the last child. It doesn't make sense that authorities didn't realize that. The 6 year old's case could be anything, but not paranormal. Give her some time to grow and process what happened and see what she says later. What's of most concern to me is that so many adults just don't seem to think it's important to keep an eye on young kids when in nature. All these missing kids seem to have been left to themselves to just roam around with no one with them.
Ugh i really miss getting 3 to 5 NEW stories from Mr. Ballen per week .These days its mostly retellings with far too many irrelevent details thrown in.

A lion or cougar was tracking that little boy. As soon as he seen his chance. The lion attacked him and dragged him to the spot where the Hound dogs stop tracking him.That's where he was eaten

Mountain lions are snatching these kids off the trails, taking them up to their den and playing with them like a cat with a mouse, then sadly, finally eating them.
Could little Albert in story #1 have been taken by an eagle? Some of those eagles are huge and are carnivorous predators…and need to feed their young! 😲

Poudre is pronounced Poo - der. This refers to Cache de Poudre a river and canyon in Colorado and this is the local pronunciation.
I came here to mention the same thing. I lived in the Poudre canyon when this happened.
