Old legends say that if you live in a quiet, gorgeous location, sometimes Thomas Zwijsen will suddenly appear out of thin air with an acoustic guitar and play a beautiful rendition of a famous song, then disappear. Always be on the lookout.
This guy is an absolute champion. He knows all the right songs to play. As a Thrash guy, I started to play the nylon two yrs ago when I saw Thomas’s Temple Of The King rendition. So awesome!
I guess some people beg to differ but Ripper Owens nailed it on the '98 Live Meltdown album and sang it even better than Rob Halford (they played it a bit different live though compared to JP's original version).
I could hear her singing "As I remember your eyes were bluer than robin's eggs, my poetry was lousy you said, where are you calling from? A booth in the midwest."
You are a great harmonizer of the stridency of good metal. Without a doubt you are a great tamer of the paraphernalia of stridencies of the metal. Worthy of listening in moments to magnify the tranquility and to be able to think!
Absolutely wonderful playing of a marvelous song! One thing I've long noticed about yours and yours & Wiki's videos is the stunning backdrops you choose. This one is no exception. There is something bleak about a field that has been sowed, now empty but waiting for the new crop. Trees, sky, rocky hills, all so nice to look at. Great video and great song! Thank you for sharing!

I love this song in bothJoan Báez and Judas Priest versions. You did a fantastic tribute to both of them. Beautiful!

From acoustic (Baez's version I guess) to metal, to acoustic-metal version. Story of this song is crazy.
Priest has also done this acoustically
