Thanks for these videos, these are really helpful for us SN. I'm also 5'2 and my body is almost identical to yours except I have slightly wider hips. Also not a fan of boho style, maybe some elements but not an entire wardrobe. Looking back on some photos noticed that I was wearing a ton of FN lines and oh my goodness did I not realize until recently that I looked so boxy in them, way too many oversized things that drowned me. I still wear oversized clothing, but now try to pick softer fabrics that will drape well on my body and accentuate the curves. Lately after discovering Sezane have been drawn to French chic inspired things that are feminine and relaxed and want to buy absolutely everything from them lol.
Oh my god Sezane will actually be the death of me. Shipping to Canada is so expensive but you’re right, their aesthetic is so perfect and not at all boho. The French chic look I think works well for us SN’s too. Glad to hear you enjoy these and sorry it took me so long to reply :)
Yes! Great to see these looks. I’m 42 and just discovering that I’m a soft natural with classic essence. Now I see why my closet was filled with pieces that feel off. Thanks for sharing, now I know what to shop for ❤
Yay, I love this video. Just landed on soft natural type. Those tops are definitely my style. I never realized until now that I do well with 70’s styles. When I was the most obsessed with fashion (when i was 13-14), 70’s we’re my thing…the textures, the prints, the colors, the open sleeves and easy structure. My hair wants to be 70’s too: long with a slight wave. I have to be careful though as I am busty. If I show too much chest all you can see are boobs 🤣 A wrap looks good on me, but I wish they came in natural fibers as opposed to stretchy acrylics. I feel like I am suffocating in synthetic fabrics (plus they make me stinky, I never get BO in cotton)
Thank you for the comment and sorry it has taken so long to reply! I totally agree with you on the 70s thing, definitely my favorite style. Im also always struggling to find a wrap top, I swear they used to be more widely available and with good materials. I bought the American apparel wrap top and the exact same thing happens. Let’s us hope someone reading this can point us in the direction of a well made wrap
I HAVE NEVER SEEN SUCH ACCURACY WITHIN A SOFT NATURAL LOOKBOOK!!!!! As a soft natural I feel like people misunderstand our body type. I have really been struggling because I came to the conclusion that tank tops/tub tops/anything restricting does not flatter me whatsoever after gaining weight. Every video I see suggests off the shoulder pieces (which makes me look wider than I actually am!!) and tube tops (definitely not my style). I needed simple but cute ideas for tops that aren’t too formal but are still nice. Thank you so much for this video. Amazing😭❤️
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this to me. I feel EXACTLY the same way! All the reccos make me look worse. I’m glad you found this helpful! Hopefully more soft natural creators start making more modern SN material 🤞
I feeeeeel this struggle so much!!! I'm also a SN and a more classic essence and most of the stuff out there in styles that flatter my body are boho indeed. Please keep making these videos. Loved the Southern California vibes you mentioned.
i just discovered your channel and i love it. i’ve typed myself as a soft natural. i am also 5’2 and have a very similar body type to you. thank you for sharing your kibbe experience with all of us! more creators need to make videos about the natural family!!
Same! I’m 5’2 too and I typed myself as a SN, but I was struggling to find a confirm since there aren’t many creators with this ID and it’s not discussed that much. Finding these videos and seeing a body soooo similar to mine made me feel so happy, I’m so grateful
You look so great, cute and stylish! Very helpful. I always thought I was a Soft Dramatic or Soft Classic, but I think I'm realizing I'm actually a Soft Natural. These outfits are what I feel most put together, myself and comfy in. Thanks for this!
Only just discovered this video. It’s great. Your advice is spot on for SN. I have a black top and cross body bag similar to yours so felt validated when I saw your first outfit ha ha! That look is my favourite ❤
In my opinion you are more Dramatic Classic. You have fine facial features and look great in the classic styles. You accidentally said it yourself, “I have a minimalist, classic wardrobe”. Thanks for the videos 🌺
Just discovered your videos as I was looking up SN-specific content. And wow! I’m so impressed. All the looks were on point, but number 3 is my uniform to a tee. Loose, drapey button-ups in natural materials tucked into midrize jeans is what I feel my most authentic self in. All three outfits looked great on you, and I especially loved the classic, timeless essence to all of them.
Thank you so much for this kind feedback! Sorry it took so long to reply! I appreciate you taking the time to write a comment! Hope your kibbe jourey is going well!
Your outfits align with what I've found works for me too. I think the most important tip was to avoid constricting our chests. For me, it's not only about the direct width, from shoulder-to-shoulder, but also having a moderately-to-big chest, I've found collar shape and fabric type should be prioritized. I look better with a v-neck or straight or square collar because I think it juxtapositions the roundness of my shoulders and chest and "opens" me up, while a crewneck closes me and a cotton t-shirt sits on my figure like a soft paper bag. It feels and looks suffocating, as if I'm cutting my neck to my waist out of the picture. I've found this is especially worse in black, which we're all told is a perfect neutral color but I don't believe all "neutral" colors work well with everyone. I've discovered this while researching color analysis which I recommend, if you haven't. Shape + color is half the battle and then I think it's all about personal style. I stumbled into color analysis during my minimalism research because I've had a strange time with style, as someone with eccentric taste, I just love different things but when you've got a closet full of different things and nothing matches, that also takes away your confidence because then you just end up wearing the same four things that don't need to be thought about... Well, I'd rather sacrifice my instinctual likes for mental clarity 🤣 so I've made a rule for myself, only buying "my colors" and only as basics! No patterns. (Aside from an exception, here or there 😅.) Because I've realized stripes, plaids, flannels, etc. "box" me up and I also don't like bohemian style and personally find florals too artificially feminine. It's kind of like wearing too much perfume over your natural pheromones. I think "natural" body type is almost like saying we are already the landscape in of itself, you don't have to cover yourself with scenery (like flowers) when you're already the centerpiece. However, I do think pattern size makes a difference, smaller can look cleaner, and I do have a couple floral dresses. 🤣 For me, I think it can be pulled off, lightly, better in a dress because there's a bigger flow, as oppose to a shirt where it's stretched, sitting on the body like a billboard. Just like I want to avoid patterns but actually have a white polkadot shirt that looks very nice on me. But this is because the base is white, the collar is v (with lapels) and the sleeves are 3/4 with tiered ruffles. Combined, these features give me all the benefits of openness I need. Just like your flared sleeves are the perfect touch. But I also have brown toned skin so white can be a great contrast. Maybe black looks better for you or maybe you can try a lighter color with polkadots like an olive green. The last pattern shirt is also very my taste. I think basically we work well with shapes when it's about the lining and direction of the shirt itself. Where it starts and ends, the collar, the overlaps (like the cross-body bag which was a great point), but shapes WITHIN clothes (linear patterns) can be a problem so it's best when things actually do appear a little messy. 🤷🏽♀️ I'm actually looking for a black polkadot skirt because in that case, the skirt would have inherent movement from my legs, but a black base would also allow me to be seen (not cut off) but not too glaring. I'm tall so a long white skirt would be too much space for me, kinda feel like a blanket. And black neutral would allow more top options, in my opinion. So there really are no hard set rules, I've found sometimes my own rules can break depending on what part of my body I'm styling.
I have a very similar situation right now with my eccentric style and trying to find a new way to dress. It has been so frustrating to dress for the past 10 years ( I am now 26 years old) - I love eccentric vintage fashion, but I always felt like everything that looks nice on my friends and models made me just look BIG and WIDE. Even though I am not really big or wide. I always had a full closet of clashing pieces (partly still have), but for the past 2 years I have been trying to find my style and I feel like I am slowly getting somewhere. It is still at times frustrating because I want to wear these interesting-looking vintage pieces, but now I am trying to keep in mind my body type and color palette. Thank you for your comment, now I have some new ideas, on how to make my style better! It was really encouraging😊
Nice! I especially adore the shapes of the first outfit. Love that. I wanna get shirts like that in my colors! My palette is the warmer end of Soft Summer and the cooler end of Soft Autumn.
The dotted black shirt looks awesome on you. The lowness - I hope yu have some kind of tape trick! The boho shirt is really nice, too, though maybe not very DC, which I happen to think is your style.
I think you are extremly beautiful, especially in SN Lines. Great Video. Outfit 1 & 3 - yeah! So cool, free, sweet, nice, chilled and chic.. soft natural greatings from germany ^^
Thank you so much for some guidance! I recently got into Kibbe and self identify as an SN but I’m so surprised by the lack of style resources there are!
Again same type of outfits i like on me (just like your other video) . Funny that i think the same of the crossbodys and how they help with the waist and also i alwas felt like the 70s style look good on my type of body!! Thanks you very much, again!!❤👍🏼
You’re gorgeous, and this account is actually making me question whether I’m a SN after all, despite the fact that I’m 5’6” and otherwise feel like I should be SN. I’m going to have to explore some more. Thanks!

Awesome, loved the first and last look lotsss! I have 2 outfits that are sooo similar but not quite as flattering so this was a great reference point for me to try to hone them into! Thank youu
You are so beautiful and I think you are doing very well. I agree with you that there isn't enough attention to the naturals. However, the little that's out there is mostly wrong. Kibbe will never ask any Natural to wear boho style. You can wear boho if that is your personal flavor and you can wear something else if it isn't. Kibbe is about understanding your body and its lines; it isn't a style. The polka dot on you was absolutely lovely and it actually suit your lines because of the loose and drape cut as you mentioned. You actually did a good job here and better than most pinterest boards. I suggest you join the Strictly Kibbe group to actually learn more from as close to Kibbe himself as possible. Omg sooo funny when she says “I hope my boyfriend is not watching because he is making fun of me” I was just thinking about my ex posing like that what would he think 😅😂🎉
Hi, I like the lines you chose. I would like to add about colours, I found it in someones page in internet this discription for SN: : Your use of color should be vibrant and rich. Brights and pastels form the basis of your wardrobe, but soft neutrals with a little vivid accenting can be very elegant and exciting in beautiful textures. Dark colors will be too stark if your don’t break them up. Use them primarily for accents or for color combinations. Bright and soft color combinations work best, as opposed to starkly contrasting ones. For example light/bright or bright/dark combos are softer on you than light/dark ones. Wild color combinations (bright/bright) of opposing intensities are fun, particularly for your casual clothes Avoid: Dull, monochromatic schemes. Head-to-toe dark schemes That is why if you find a top in the first variant of more bright colours, may be you'll like it more. What about patterns from the Kibbe's book: Prints should be softly rounded shapes, abstract and flowing. They may be either watercolor-blended or very electric and vibrant, as long as they are slightly irregular and have soft edges. Size should be moderate to slightly large. So the third variant I find the most interesting for SN
I am so lost with my body type. I have gained a lot of weight than I have in the past, but I still have a natural small waist - I have very square shoulders and a wide chest (some what large ribs) and I am 5'3". SO confusing but these outfits are super cute and I would deff wear them.
I'm 5'4 and i recently started to realize that I'm a SN. I'm also 34. For some reason i thought that I'm too short to be anything but some type of gamine or classic (I'm definitely not a romantic). I've been watching kibbe related videos for years and this whole time i thought I'm a boyish FG but I was always drawn to a relaxed natural type of style, and never could make it work for me. Now I'm starting to think that just because flamboyant natural or straight up natural lines don't fit me, doesn't mean that SN won't fit either. For some reason i thought naturals have to have long legs, look tall and be tall. I had no idea that 5'4 is not short. Why did i think i was short? I never related to gamines and felt like i have to force myself to make FG/G work for me, then i started to think that mb if i just stick to classic lines (because apparently classic tayloring will look ok on everyone) I'll be comfortable, but maybe there's a reason why i prefer natural lines. Maybe my heart is telling me what i am lol. Anyway thanks to more and more videos like this about kibbe types I'm learning so much, there used to be only one channel talking about this and there's something about having multiple sourses available that helps understand a subject better, although it's possible that I'm still misunderstanding it and im not a SN at all! The outfits you chose definitely suit you though, I'm convinced that you're a SN.
Thank you so much for your feedback! Sorry it has taken me so long to reply! Have you landed on which kibbe type you are yet? I'm still searching but I think SN works best even if I don't love all of the recommendations lol thanks again!
Please please please keep on making videos. You are so far the most natural person I saw in RUclips. I hope you grow further.

The tip of putting the crossbody behind you to further allow the strap to tapper at the waist is so simple, but so smart
I think you are extremly beautiful, especially in SN Lines. Great Video. Outfit 1 & 3 - yeah! So cool, free, sweet, nice, chilled and chic.. soft natural greatings from germany ^^
You have such a classic essence, it’s so beautiful!
thank you so much for the kind feedback!
Finally a soft natural look book that fits my vibe! *Subbed*
That shirt , stunning . Bell sleeves look great
The last outfit was my faaave! Thank you for these vids
thank you for watching!
I think Dearly Bethany has a similar style to soft natural. I've been inspired by her wardrobe and most of the outfits she wears suit me as well
That shirt looks cute with the bag!
Thank you so much for some guidance! I recently got into Kibbe and self identify as an SN but I’m so surprised by the lack of style resources there are!
I know! I feel like SN is one of the hardest to find out about online. Thank you for you watching!
those dots suits you dear. Gamine patterns.Your face looks more vivid with those gamines patterns.
Again same type of outfits i like on me (just like your other video) . Funny that i think the same of the crossbodys and how they help with the waist and also i alwas felt like the 70s style look good on my type of body!! Thanks you very much, again!!❤👍🏼
So happy to hear that you enjoy the videos!
This helped me confirm that this is what I *think* my Kibbe is, may change again but 😂 Thank you for this, I love these looks sm!!
Also I was going to say your voice felt very ASMR, but I didn't want to be weird lol, but I see you've made ASMR, how cool :)
Thank you for the kind comment! Am so happy to hear the videos help :)
i really love your channel, it's gonna blow up one day💞
Thank you so much for saying so :)
lolll the reference to dan flashes. great vid!
Haha we love a complicated pattern around here
I’ve been enjoying binging your videos since we are the same body type! Totally stealing some of the look ideas haha
Haha please do! Also let me know what I’m missing :)
Love your style!!
Thank you!
Love this❤ you look great❤
This is so good thank you for sharing and caring appreciate you! 💜💜💜
You’re gorgeous, and this account is actually making me question whether I’m a SN after all, despite the fact that I’m 5’6” and otherwise feel like I should be SN. I’m going to have to explore some more.
Thanks!
Thank you for the very kind comment! Truthfully I question if I’m an SN from time to time. Some of the suggestions simply do not work. Have you looked into DC?
Please share your learning journey with us on here. Best wishes.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I appreciate that you enjoyed the video and am glad that I’m able to make content for this severely underrepresented body type. I will check out the group for sure! I’m a little saddened that he took away the pure body types but I think in time I’m willing to trust him again haha
Very helpful! Can I ask what you're wearing for undergarments with those first two tops? Silicone covers? Nothing? Some kind of magical plunge bra?
I usually wear nipple tape if I go out in public haha
You're 34?!??? What??? I thought you were 25
Guess, that's one of the qualities of them as well. A soft face with creativity and freshness is there. 🙂
Omg sooo funny when she says “I hope my boyfriend is not watching because he is making fun of me” I was just thinking about my ex posing like that what would he think 😅😂🎉
I love this video ❤️ very helpful
I am not 100% sure, but I think I am a natural. And a creator. And now I am thinking about starting videos about this topic 😂 thanks for this video!
PLEASE DO haha I feel like so many people are struggling and the more content the absolute better!
would be nice to know what size and brand these clothes are from. thanks!
I am a soft natural and i love your lookbook. I'm curious do you know your color palette?
Thank you! I’m not actually sure, a couple of people have suggested I’m a winter and that seems to make sense but have to delve into it further :)
Omg we are the same body type, style, hair color, and age. Rly trying to figure this stuff out rn but I’ve been learning so much.
It’s really overwhelming and I’m still not 100 percent certain haha
Hi, I like the lines you chose. I would like to add about colours, I found it in someones page in internet this discription for SN: : Your use of color should be vibrant and rich. So the third variant I find the most interesting for SN

Does H&M still sell that first black crop top? Looks lovely on you, and I'm trying to find it!
I don’t think so unfortunately, I got it almost two years ago :(
muy lindos tus videos, me gustan que tus outfits son realizables facilmente
I’m soft natural and I’m not about that boho look, so thank you
Thank you jeezus 🙏🏼
so jealous of Natural types as their shoulders give tops a very nice framed shape.
I'm still searching but I think SN works best even if I don't love all of the recommendations lol thanks again!
love itttttt
Yes, I am a soft natural!
The outfits are all really cute but what should I do if I’m not comfortable having a shirt that opens that deep
The tops don’t have to be a super deep V shape. Any v shape or open neckline just helps.
Where are the 1st pants from?
Do you think you might be a bright winter
oooh its very possible! maybe my next video will be color analysis research (also confusing lol)
❤🎉🎉
Please can you do a video on Halloween costumes for the body types, if you release it around the start of October I bet it would do really well :)
Just as a comment - polka dots are not too much for you. SN can wear patterns as an accent or in this case as a more dramatic look.
Awesome! This helps because I like patterns. That’s great to know thank you!
Thanks!!
Hello, do you know what color season you are?
I actually don’t but a lot of people have said summer
Yes we naturals are struggling out here. They keep telling me to dress boho-chic like its 2009!!!
Florence pugh is sn and she does alot of cool non bohemian looks...
I feel trapped between soft natural and soft gamine because of my broadness.
Almost like Dakota johnson
34! What's your secret?
Haha was born with a face that looked like it was 11 until I turned 30 and now it’s all just desperate maintenance and sleep
SN.. - we have the adult babyfaces 😉😁😁👌
Boob dip is WAY too low. But otherwise, good suggestions.
