Another awesome story, Dan! I love visiting places that are 'living history'. This place looks fascinating...don't see too much from this time period. Next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely check it out. Janet's photos really add to the feel of the period also. Thanks, Janet! Keep 'em coming, Dan! There are treasures all around you!
Thanks Mark, I feel the same way about your little island. When I was younger I dreamed of moving there. You brought the entire place to me through your videos! Heck of a lot cheaper that way ,on this end. ha ha Thanks Dan
I could imagine your hippy characters wearing that spoon around their neck, and saying, "The heck with the cornbread, lead us to the medicinal garden!" ;D You're awesome, Dan! Another amazing production. Thank you for sharing!
Another excellent video Dan of a place I am sure I will never see in person, so thank you! Congrats on being featured on the other site too, you deserve it!:)
Thanks so much MossyCove. We plan to get over to the NC side of the mountains later this month. (Franklin) I can't wait to walk amongst them. Your username invokes those thoughts, smells, cool streams, and everything about the Smokies.
Thank You so much Rebecca! I have been meaning to tell you that since watching your show with Micheal Pollan, We have changed our food sources dramatically. We are drawing on our family history and experience to get back to eating REAL food! We put up corn, beans, squash and also made some Starwberry Jam and Blackberry Jelly last week. (Before we saw your video on it! darn it) We'll have to pay more attention. Thanks so much
Thank you, Dan! ;D please allow me to mention to the folks: "Hey guys! did you know that Dan is an accomplished painter with rare sensitivity & skills? I love the 2 paintings I have! Search through his vids, he posted one last year with around 25 of his paintings! My gosh, I haven't seen them since then, and I still remember them! Portraits, scenes, so well done that they will be indelibly etched into your memory. Now, ain't that an artist? ;D" Thanks again, Dan! ;D
Thanks so much our other friend from across the pond. Hey I took that same exam as in your Squirrel Memory test. I used Mason Jars and chocolate covered peanuts. I found them everytime!
Very nice enlightenment for the 99.999% of America who aren't familiar with Moravians. I have to say I'm surprised at minor mistakes made by the translators (employees), but not all historic sites are fortunate enough to have excellent leadership. Thank you very much for the video!
Just found out my ancestors were Moravians and were part of the settlement at Bethabara, and later Bethania. I live in Georgia, but have a trip planned to NC this summer. I can't wait to visit the park; thank you so much for posting this! Do you know any other worthwhile Moravian sites I should put on my itinerary? I plan on visiting God's Acre as that is most likely where the first immigrant in our family is buried. I'd welcome any suggestions you may have. Thanks!
PopTalk, you are too kind. Thank You for the comment, thank you for the help passing this along, and thank you for making such great videos like your WORKING FROM HOME, its awesome Dan

Will do, I think we are going to extend the ADA through the remainder of the year. The next one up on our short list is MS, But I think it would be great to add yours next on our list, and It would be great to honor a request from such a loyal friend, Jan and I try to choose way ahead of time so fire away. (privately of course)
Thanks Tiny, thats a shame about Drew's name, I got it of the web from a press article on Fort Dobbs. Believe me with a name like mccoig, I get soooo many versions I can't keep up
What, they left that part out ... Again! ha ha Never fear I promise to ONLY do interviews in the future if your site is featured. Hello Donna,
Thanks a bunch. How are the mountains, we miss them.
Really enjoyed seeing several friends in the video. Bethabara is still an active congregation at 2100 Bethabara Rd. - Just a short walk from the park.
