Zao Onsen ski resort is famous in Japan for its big ski slopes and very nice hot springs (don't worry if you get hurt!).
After all, Zao is home to the famous "Ice Monster"!
On the first day, the weather was bad and we could not get a good look at the "Ice Monster.
Some of the members were snowboarding for the first time, but they were able to make it back to the area where they could see the "Ice Monster"!

We too went to Zao in January 2023.
We'll be there again in February!
When did you guys actually go? On what dates specifically? We worry that there might not be enough snow at the end of December.
This video was taken in March of this year.
There is little snow in Japan this year, and Zao hasn't had that much snow yet. The ski resort itself is already open. It's expected to snow this weekend, so I'm hoping it will pile up at once.

This is the cat we have. There are hotels in Zao that allow cats and dogs.
Are there any ski gears rental in the area of Zao Ropeway?
There is a ski and snowboard wear and gear rental store right in front of the ropeway station!
