Isn't that wire too stiff too heavy and stiff to make spirals and thread through 9mm holes? I would just drill 10mm holes in wood and use 3mm wire which works. 5:45

Awesome tutorial Domeless! I will say though, in 2 episodes of the US version, 2 episodes of the UK version, and multiple episodes of the Portuguese version, the crayon wrapper was different on Steve’s crayon, where the dark green stripe was the one closest to the tip of the crayon!
I actually had the toy version of the notebook along with Joe’s too. Also, I had a huge blowup Thinking chair as a kid. I was a Blue Clues nut just like everybody else and I’m PROUD of it! :) :) :)

Does that wire make the notebook heavy when you put the spiral in? I've tried bendable metal wire before with one of my notebooks from Flying Colors, and that made my notebook heavy. 2. I think I remember you using a clear coding before and/or after you spray painted the spirals. Does that help the red spray paint stay on at least for a long time? 3. I've made some covers before out of black cardboard, but I've also sanded down plywood before, and that made it feel a little soft, instead of hard. 4. How do the edges of the wood feel after you spray paint the covers black? 5. What brand is the yellow construction paper you used? I have yellow construction paper, but every time I make the yellow pages, it bends, like, it curves up and down. Growing up with blue’s clues I didn’t think that show would make toy notebooks likes in the series yes they were made by flying colors and jacks pacific and later on elaminated versions but then again I know that they are apart of the show’s merchandise
One thing I will bring up Domeless, I know you love clipboard wood a lot and clipboard wood would be perfect for when you build the nature notebook. But the other ones should definitely be with plywood!

I also view the nature notebook as a notebook that purely hand-made, even though I know the notebook was done by professionals for Steve!

Not sure if you saw in the album, but I do have a replica of the Steve crayon, not only the black tipped one, but a purple tipped one with the wrapper in the different direction (with the dark green stripe closer to the tip), and 2 regular sized black crayola crayons with shades of light green that look more chartreuse, which with that I tried to replicate the shades of light green from season 1. I also have a green tipped crayon. All my crayons have green stripes on them and I do plan on improving them someday! I also have a replica of the broken crayon from both “Math” and “Blue is Frustrated”!
