I have a 2022 Aviator and love it. I love the way the twin turbos give you that immediate thrust on demand. If you can afford this car, you shouldn't be complaining about gas mileage guys. My range is 365 miles and get around 19-20 mpg combined driving. I'm not too lazy to push a button to open the back gate. I love the leather interior and the car's computer is easy to use. Also, someone said they couldn't get bluetooth hooked up to their phone, mine works fine. My wife and I have apple phones and both work in our car. I am very pleased with my Aviator.
Turn off the "cargo mode" in settings to stop the car from squatting. It should only squat when the feature is turned on and the gate is raised. It is to ease loading in the rear.
Hello. You can disable the easy entry function. As far as the auto stop/start function, I shut it off when I get in the vehicle, but then I have to do the same every time I restart it. I also have no kick sensor on my Aviator, but that's because of a chip shortage. You can get them to install one for about $100 USD.
The suspension drops to help loading and unloading stuff in the cargo area. Not for ease of passenger loading and unloading. You can disable the start and stop with the push of a tab on the screen.
We have had 4 issues with our 2023 Aviator. 1) Backup camera recalled but seems to be fixed. 2) Ventilated seats didn’t work from the day one. We didn’t know until the first warm day and tried them. 3) Black Label service is a joke. It took 6 months to get an appointment and the ventilation still doesn’t work. 4) We are now seeing water inside the tail lights.
You're better off without the foot operated feature. I had it on my 21 and it worked when it felt like it.. I'd be waving my foot back and forth and finally. One time I was leaning under the car wiping the exhaust and the liftgate triggered and almost knocked me over. You don't need winter tires where I live , so not a problem. The auto start/stop won't shut the vehicle when the A/C is running which is about 10 months of the year here. I didn't have the Dynamic Handling Packing on mine, so can't comment on that other to say I wouldn't choose it because you can't use the running boards with that package. I had those on mine. The look of yours is perfect. I'm waiting to see what the 24 is like.
I have the 22. The “gas saving” feature can be turned off. Mine has the back lift with your foot feature… doesn’t always work but it’s there. You have to move your foot forward & back, not side to side. Unless you are super short the vehicle stays high for exiting as it’s easier to climb out of a high position than a low position. Ever tried pulling your ass out of a low, folding camping chair? 😂 yeah, the gas mileage isn’t do great… but it tells you the gas mileage on the window sticker before you buy it, so I knew that going in. I don’t put snow tires on mine, regardless that is not a vehicle flaw. What I do wish it had was a rear view mirror camera. Had it in my previous car and really liked it. Overall I get lots of compliments from strangers on my car, especially the color. I have the Black Label color “Burgundy Velvet”. It’s soooo pretty!
I have a 2022 Aviator and four of the five things you hate are completely BS!! The cost of your "snow tires" have nothing to do with the vehicle. I'm sorry about the chip shortage for you, but the vehicle comes with a trunk sensor to open with your foot. You can disable the Auto Start/Stop function. It's also the law to have this feature now I believe? Use premium gas as recommended and the gas mileage is fine, Your video should be the "The 1 Thing I Hate About My 2023 Lincoln Aviator"!
@@EricTaillage Well your opinion is factually wrong about the vehicle. Your only "opinion" is that you don't like the suspension. The other things you "Hate" aren't true to the vehicle's specs!
Agree with you on the Auto Start/Stop. Hate that I have to disable this every time I get into the vehicle. This could be a simple software update. I disabled the automatic lowering of the vehicle on exit. I don't like anything automatic as it just increases wear on the component. I get around 340 miles to a tank. But I'm a coaster and don't stomp on the gas pedal. I get around 19 miles/gal in the city.
The trunk sensor is removed because of chip shortage, you can also disable the auto starts stop in the infotainment screen but it changes to default automatically for the next trip. For the milage I got around 720km in highway and in the city it’s is around 580
Auto start you can disable! The gas mileage is phenomenal, the rear hatch you should have paid extra for the foot sweep and if you put it normal drive mode the suspension won’t do that!
😂 Auto stop start is so dumb and woke as hell. Some of these things might be changing in the states due to Trump dropping or lowering regulations. Canada's leadership is a joke like ours was the last four yrs so good luck with that. Beautiful vehicle! I'm thinking about a 2025 reserve. They have 21 gallons in the states. When you push the button to turn it on, just push another one, and it takes two seconds. All turbo motors are just ok on gas unless you really stay out of it. It still has way more power than my 2023 4Runner and gets way better gas mileage. Two totally different worlds, though.
I thought I was the only one who noticed/hated the up/down thing. Getting in is awesome. But getting out stinks. To your point it is like a 4x4. Also, mine is a 23 black label and it still does not connect apple car play or android auto through Bluetooth. I do love the car, but a few things that just bug the crud out of me.
First 2 things are not a hate on the actual aviator, tires are pricy in that 22” size regardless of which vehicles, the kick sensor is an options yours does not have, so you can’t say u hate the truck for a feature yours doesn’t have, plus those kick sensors suck and hardly work.
Air suspension has always been slow. I have to say all of threse things you dont like. Should of considred befroe buying. Im going to be looking at the 2024. If the gas tank is still that small. That is going to be a problem for me. We go from NYC area to Lake Placid NY, thats a 307 mile trip. I would not be happy about that range. I have a Jeep Wrangler that gets almost 450 to 500 miles to a tank full.
How could you not mention that if you don't have power you can't open any of your passenger doors? There are no door latches on the Aviator. How'd you miss that important safety issue?
You need to tuck your foot in a little more pal. You can't wave it 5 feet away from the vehicle 😂. Auto start stop buttons are right under your screen.
Everything you complained about ae easy fixes. A s far as your tailgate it was simple as an upgrade if you wanted. Two of your complaints are programmable. And tites REALLY?

A device can be purchased to override the auto stop start.
@@EricTaillagevoids the warranty

I think if you put it in excite the engine will not auto stop when stopped. Try it out

its a 76L tank so at 10 liters per 100km on highway you should get 760km..
not even close
Reserve instead of Black Label just for the stop/start delete feature.
