I was born in Deeper Life, and I was very vocal in asking questions from the Youth church. Never for once was it taught that wearing this or that was a sin, though it was discouraged.
The scriptures we are referred to stress the need for moderation. That's it. I believe there is a difference between the culture of an assembly, and what is a sin.
I pray God help the body of Christ.

Talking about pastor Kumuyi has helped you to gain some recognition. Wow, a whole sermon dedicated to talking about Kumuyi and not about Christ. Are you sure that this is the leading of the Holy Spirit? And what value does that add to the spiritual life of your members? Are you not responsible for all the negative comments generated by your sermon?

I like the clarification of the man of GOD I hope it will reduce the tension in the air, but still yet I know there are people that won't still get it, judging from some comments I read, nevertheless these are things of the spirit, say it till tomorrow they won't still get it cos they are not grounded not rooted in the scripture, man of GOD ride on sir, am behind you gidigba...
Above all preparing the members for heaven should be the core message of any pastor and not stories about what you think about other pastors.
Those condemning your message don't know what they are saying because from the message I heard you never slandered Pastor Kumuyi, keep doing the great things you are doing for the kingdom of God.
I don't think you need to concentrate on WF Kumuyi all the time, the gospel of Christ should be uttermost in our sermon.
Have read through a lot of comments that were not deeply thought about. Even pastor Kumuyi some are defending as once said that he will remove all those things he thought will make this members deeper in christ but notice they are not, that he will knock them off and present to the church the true church before he leaves. This sermon is only trying to point out those possible areas which are not clearly called sin or sinful but are part of the church practise today. I stand to be corrected, but still waiting for the verse if the bible that sets up marriage committee. Listening to a part of a message and drawing conclusion is a sign of lack of proper understanding of the whole conversation. One of the greatest thing the bible contains is to reveal the failures of his great man and woman of God. Let learn from this. A pure and holy church not that one modified my human doctrine is what will take us to heaven.
I'm not a deepler life member, but you tactically slandered Pastor Kumuyi and DLBC.
There's no crime in expressing one's conviction on any doctrine or personality as long as one's motive is pure and your stance is scriptural. Those who agree with you will follow you while others will go their way. That is inevitable. So put that behind you, face your minstry and move on.

When you have a disagreement with your father, you settle it personally not taking it (public) online Sir; I learnt this some months back personally. I did want to comment from your last message which I heard because I saw pastor Kumuyi in it.
All you said last week was disagreement yes, but that doesn't mean pastor Kumuyi is wrong. Pastor Kumuyi's standard of holiness is on a different level that's why he follows scriptures like that. If you talk of ladies decking themselve with gold and stuffs, it may not be wrong, but it can lead many to worldliness and for the trousers, whether you say it's not a sin but to maintain holiness a good dress is much more better for ladies, as females who wear trousers tend to appear more sensual than those who wear dresses (now I said more, I don't mean all); so to maintain holiness, trousers is not expedient if I would go with your message, cause if you go to history, you'll discover that traditionally trousers have been seen as a male clothing for decades before the 2nd world war and industrial revolution when women started adopting it as men went to war; infact there was a time that women wearing trousers was considered a crime in America. Bible says if your right eye will cause you to fall, cut it off, and Paul said all things are lawful but not all things are expedient. By the way, I've never seen Dr. D.K. Olukoya's wife on trousers or earrings, same with daddy Adeboye's wife (though I don't know why redeem ladies don't like following her model), even pastor Enenche's wife too doesn't wear trousers, though she uses jewelry.
I would advice you to focus on preaching Christ and him crucified than dwelling on Kumuyi's ministry, cause the things you did raise an eyebrow about, from his ministry is not capable of sending one to Hell fire.
Please you people comment on this pastor message should patiently listen to his messages before starting to be saying nonsense or before you turn the truth upside down
Sir, there must be a reason to now sound remorseful about your earlier message which i took time to listen to. I also realised that a Bible based Church ought to give messages with Bible references.
The issue of jewelry and it's usage have driven potential children of God to the den of Satan called churches. If the issue of jewelry as a barricade is removed, people will appreciate the gospel and come into the light of God .

first message and clearification, I don't know you in person and I don't know your church location if not for the first and second message I saw online and I want to say that, it might be for some reasons known to God since you said you didn't prepare for this.
Also, who knows if your message would have been misinterpreted if you don't mention pastor kumuyi from beginning.
Many would have suggested that you side him for one reason or the other.
Only you and God knows the reason and if there's any need for adjustment and correction, I kindly plead with you to do that immidiately to avoid Satan's strategy.

Thank you my brother. This pastor doesn't really know pastor Kumuyi as he claims. His criticism of pastor Kumuyi is just one out of millions of criticisms of Kumuyi. Thankfully pastor Kumuyi is never distracted by such ventures.

So Jesus' preaching against the attitudes, errors and the wrongs of the religious people of His days is a wrong message?
You don't have any apology because the doctrine is about Kumuyi. W.F. Kumuyi himself had realised and said he's going to overturn many things he initiated wrongfully before exiting. Bible truth is what you said and you're wasting too much time on the laws of Moses. How many of the doctrine has research church development like you did.
