That's what I thought too, like the title's structure is just so sad if you look at it - it's written in passive voice, so the "One hour of silence" is the subject, aka the main thing. Discord pings is only an addition, you can erase them from the sentence and it won't lose its point. It's just an hour of complete nothingness, interrupted by something "random" - those discord pings might be just "everyone"-s, or someone might've ping you by accident. They're not for you. It's just those small moments of human interactions that you crave so much, those small moments that you dream about while spending hours and hours only by yourself, in complete silence. And the video is just a black background. It's not even changing when you "get pinged". Because even if you really got pinged intentionally, it still won't change nothing. You are alone. Maybe there's no any deeper meaning behind that video and its title, but I a literature geek so I see deeper meaning everywhere because I obviously have no life

That's what I thought too, like the title's structure is just so sad if you look at it - it's written in passive voice, so the "One hour of silence" is the subject, aka the main thing. Discord pings is only an addition, you can erase them from the sentence and it won't lose its point. It's just an hour of complete nothingness, interrupted by something "random" - those discord pings might be just "everyone"-s, or someone might've ping you by accident. They're not for you. It's just those small moments of human interactions that you crave so much, those small moments that you dream about while spending hours and hours only by yourself, in complete silence.
And the video is just a black background. It's not even changing when you "get pinged". Because even if you really got pinged intentionally, it still won't change nothing. You are alone.
Maybe there's no any deeper meaning behind that video and its title, but I a literature geek so I see deeper meaning everywhere because I obviously have no life
