Love Kylie. But let’s get one thing straight. The songwriters are the ones who deserve more credit. Yes Kylie made it big but the song also gave Kylie a fresh lift to her career. Songwriters get treated so badly. It’s time for some kind of revolution.
Credit to Kylie, Lostboy, who co-wrote and produced the track picked up the award at the pre-awards show where she could have done it herself if she really wanted to take it all the glory. Padam!
@@MMByoutube yeah that’s half a credit to her. But this idea of cowriters is a fallacy. Artists get credits for no substantial input. A friend of mine did some writing on Madonna’s Ray of Light album. No credits. He’s living hand to mouth. Something not fair. But Anyhows, I take your point about Kylie and Lostboy.
They did, if you look at the ceremony when the Grammy was announced they mentioned the contributors of the track. Just read.

I should have watched the entire show rather than the videos posted on RUclips where they don’t mention the writers, or the interviews where the singers don’t mention the writers. And I definitely shouldn’t criticise Kylie or any other big star for hardly mentioning the writers who make them successful. My bad..
