All the art is really beautiful, but Björk never disappoints me with anything she puts out. I managed to nab the turquoise vinyl; the other variants were similar to some of her previous vinyls & I wanted a color I didn't have yet.
But I think I might have to double-dip and get the new reissue so I have the final mixes on vinyl as well. I do actually prefer the final mixes.

The artwork and print alone is worth the time and money to collect. But then again...she knocks it out the park with every album release. I follow someone on Instagram that you might be interested in checking out. His name is @thebjorkcollector. He collects everything bjórk and hunts down her rarities and collectables. Pretty interesting!

What are your thoughts on the vinyl mixes without her son and daughters vocal not included?
Great question. I'll be honest with you...it took me by surprise the first time listening to the vinyl after having heard the spotify version so many times (USPS was late with my package so I received it on Saturday). The biggest shock came from Her Mother's House. I personally like the digital version with Isadora more than the vinyl version, although it's still pretty beautiful regardless. But her daughter adds an extra layer of awesomeness to the song. I like both Ovule versions very much. For Ancestress...I couldn't really tell the difference since both versions are mind-blowing.

@@thekingangelshow I was in the same boat waiting for my lp to arrive it was late by a week! I didn’t notice any difference in the title track edit until someone pointed it out but yeah man Dow’s voice is really missed on the vinyl master
